Appreciate the effort to make the tutorial in your spare hour ... Cheers
Great videos and info, I had a blocked Vaporiser on my Peugeot Boxer 2.2 Ford engine. This item is so easy to check without having to remove it. It's attached to the battery box under the van. Disconnect the fuel line to it, add a length of pipe to the Vaporiser, and blow through it by mouth. You should be able to blow air through it very easily like blowing through a drinking straw, if air doesn't flow easy and I mean easy then the vaporiser is blocked or getting blocked if you have to struggle to pass air through the pipe.
DPF blocked, no regen, temp too low, so I followed your guide. The glow pug was 1 Ohm (OK), the vaporiser fuel pipe was not seated properly ( leaking), and the vaporiser was blocked. Did what you said, unblocked the vaporiser and clipped the fuel connector in properly. (not sure if it had come out slightly in the first place, because of excess pressure caused by the blockage?). Bingo, all cured. You are a star and saved me a heap of cash. It had been into one garage already when it went into limp mode, who obviously just tricked the car by telling it it had a new DPF. Fine for a short while, then just reoccured. Top man.
One of the top 5 channels on you tube mate there are dealers/garages taking a lot of money from people that do not have a clue thanks for the time and effort keep those videos coming.

Subbed. I 100% agree with some of the other comments about how refreshing it is to see a mechanic that actually 'fixes' things instead of just replacing everything. Love how clear the video is in terms of both the narration AND the video footage itself, keep up the good work mate 💪
Fascinating channel. You are what I refer to as a proper ‘mechanic’ as opposed to what is the norm nowadays and what my old Dad used to call them ‘ Newer Game Mechanics’. In other words, try that part and see if it cures the problem rather than use the process of elimination. You deserve every success with your business my friend.
My vaporiser plug is stuck solid in the exhaust, but if I heat the thread to red glow it will come loose. Based on what I see in this vid it seems it could handle that. Great video! Not only the content, the filming and clipping is also excellent! Good work.
AWESOME 👌 SUPER COOL THANKS 😊 👍 I'm doing QQI Level 5 in Motor mechanic in Ireland this year and your videos are priceless👌👍Thank you for sharing with us these great ideas 💡 👌👍THANKS a million 🙏

Iv has success doing this geting it redhot then puting a wd40 cans straw into the diesel fuel line and pressing it seems to work good as long as the glow plugs good
Just about to do mine good video
Great content once again. Thanks. Wonder if the glow plug can be replaced if faulty. Genuine ford glow plug part no 1892119 looks very similar

i know its your bread and butter buddy but its a bit of a crap design if it clogs up so easily bearing in mind they aint easy to access or remove and the price is outrageous ,great vid tho cheers
We run a drill up the centre then weld hole back done in 10 minutes
Tip.. a tin of lighter gas works fits perfect in the tube blows the blockage straight out if you don’t have a pressure machine
Wondering whether a sonic bath would be an option for cleaning these up
There are many products available that claim to clean out a dpf. They are normally a bottle of fluid that is put into the diesel tank with the diesel fuel. Have you tried any of these and do any of them work?
I have a small compressor for refilling my pre charged pneumatic air rifle, I bet I could rig to blow high pressure air through one ☝️🤗
Hi, any tips how to remove it on a mk3 Focus 2.0tdci 120kw ? thanks
Does the DPF fluid clear it on its own?
Thanks Jimmy Great info.

I used the air compressor but just gently added the air until the sparks stopped spitting out. just don't need 120psi. the blow torch does the bulk of the work.
Im thinking of replacing original system with this (floods engine oil with diesel). Do you know what voltage it uses and does it need pressure for the fuel line? I have tools to monitor pressure sensor and thinking of some kind of relay system to engage. Might sound stupid, but cant get original system working and its trying to do suicide when flooding oil.

I believe you get oil dilution because the vaporizer is blocked, also check the vaporizer diesel pump. It's been covered in the videos, you need to watch more...
Hi bud best location for the launch dpf fluid on nissian qashqai 1.5 dci ?
@chrisnewell-7758

From what I've learned here, a pipe from below the differential pressure sensor, squirt some in, then start the engine, it's Renault and the dpf is not far below engine level and fluid may go into the engine.
Ford want £396.29 for an oem version. I've seen some on ebay from as little as £60 ( I bought one!) and up to £120. Has anyone had issue with the cheap ones? It actually looks like a decent product, all the crimpings etc look exactly like the oem..

I don't think I would trust these enough to clean them out tbh.i opted for a new one next time it occurs it's getting a dpf delete
Hi Jimmy there's no doubt if I need that doing your the right man to contact . Do you know anything about fuel pumps I've a 2009 P3 Volvo V70 d5 I think it's the same as your V70 , ive had 2 new fuel pumps the full units the units came from Volvo in Sweden and the fucker still keeps sticking from time to time and I have to start the car whilst hitting the fuel tank with a hammer , the kids are so used of seeing me lift the back seat in the car to get at the tank they wait for me to start the car before they get in now 😂 it's been to 3 different mechanics and no ones has fixed it .

My experience with Volvo's they do not like aftermarket anything I was told years ago dont use anything but factory filters etc on them maybe Mann because the Volvo filters are Mann. Look at siirobb channel he is a guru on these d5's I hope you sort it. I love my p2 it's just a bombproof tank if you look after them.

@@chucky2316 hi Chucky I've changed the filter 3 times now in 3 years , I've used Man and Bosch all I can think is there must be some dirt in the tank but as far as I've seen the filters look pretty clean when I've changed them , the cars drives fantastic and has loads of grunt the turbo feels brilliant 👌 and I do drive it like it should be , it does long drives as high speed on the motor way , it isn't my daily driver I drive a van , so I do look forward to taking out the Volvo I love it , I change oil in it twice a year and do a transmission oil drop at least once a year since I started changing it 3 years ago at 70000 it's only got 95000 on it now and the paint work is really good but I have worked to keep it good 😊
