I use plastic bags to cover line the bowl and put some paper towel in to absorb , liner makes easy remove, Clorox wipes ,don’t forget the frame

This is really helpful!!! A family member just had surgery and is gonna use this for a while

My husband just come from hospital recovery from stroke and brain surgery. Its hard day for me to learn how look after him at home while he still struggling to got to toilet toward his feet seem weak, still feeling dizzy, sickness and tiredness when he stand. It very helpful for me to see this idea. Thank you.

This is a chuck pad, they are often covered by insurance and could be cut to fit in the bottom of the commode bag. amzn.to/3XEj73A

We were doing that and the trash people stopped coming to pick up our trash. Turns out it’s illegal to dispose this in the trash in Florida.

Why would you suggest kitty litter when you know caretakers, or whomever, is just going to FLUSH it? You don't flush litter. There will be a huge plumbing bill. Why would you even suggest that?

It is being suggested with the use of a commode liner bag (as should be used with any additive for absorption). Adding a solidified will bake disposing via trash easier, not flushing.

@@EquipMeOT now that makes a lot of sense...but otherwise people will flush it. I didn't hear you say to put it in with a liner.
