Thoughts of Dad: If you spend the majority of the day chasing children and helping your wife stand up, but like to hit a few black diamonds before the lift closes, that 90ish range, little on the longer side, is a pretty good option. Also, consider something with a nod toward being a twin tip. It’s nice to be able to ski backward and check on your family.

Just purchased Line Blade Optic 92. Eastern Canada. Intermediate skier. Hoping not too wide.

People did ski powder before fat skis existed. People ski the groomer on the way back to the lift after a powder run. It comes down to skill level. If you are good at ski fundamentals you can take whatever and shred. No bad days 😄

It's crazy how many skis each brand has and going up in 4 or 5mm width intervals!

cant decide between the qst 98 or 106. I think wider skis make you try harder to get on edge and carve thereby giving you more control (when turning or whatever you're doing).
