Great vid. I’m doing the hoppos f/b/ss setup in my 1963 Impala. I have the bags in. 1/2” line is about to be run to the trunk. Will be running 2 -5gal tanks. And either 2 or 3 pumps. I have 2 444c viair pumps. Was thinking of getting 1 more pump. So I have air for days to play. This vid was super informative and I subscribed. Thanks bro.

Sell the 444 and get the 485s. They are 100% duty at 200psi. The 444s go to crap after 130psi
Just the video I was looking for thanks.

Hello, Were did you happen to get your OG valves for quick movement? Do you have a link for it? Or something cheap but good quality. i found some but there over $800 . thank you

Thanks a bunch for the very informative video sir! Just wondering: what seems to be problematic about the "air-bag-it" air engines? Very curious 🤔

They are just made from junk parts. Yes they will work and they are cheaper, but they wont last as long. Save your money and buy quality parts that will last

Ok from watching your video I understand that the individual old school valves will let me go up and down faster than a typical manifold, but is there any manifold at all which gives a decent speed? Whats the fastest manifold? Do any come with 1/2 outlets?? Max I see is 3/8" I like that the manifolds allow ease of install and less chance of leaks as you said, but I need speed too
@CarportCustoms

My airlift mandiodl is burnt and i cant afford new one...ive been looking at manual manfiolds such as airtech with the manual buttons....if i put a manual manfild how would i tell the compressor to turn on when the tank has low air?...

With a pressure switch
I got 1" parkers to go up and 3/8 to go down

Thats a pretty good combo.
How do you adjust the valve so when it goes it it doesn’t go fast but a slow lift. on my truck it jumps really fast and hard when i lift the rear?
@CarportCustoms

You can put in-line needle valve slow downs in the line between the bag and the valve.

Are the cheap ebay brass valves really that bad? I am trying to think, is there anything really different about them. Also, manifolds like the VU4 have so many chinese knockoffs too. Are they all the same internally?
@CarportCustoms
Жыл бұрын
Junk, yes they are all technically the same, all do the same, but are made with cheap materials and parts. They won’t last like the name brands will. Do yourself a favor and buy quality parts to build a quality ride.

@@youtubedev0 the internal rubber diaphram is made of cheap rubber and won't stay sealed for long, the solenoids are cheap and also don't last long. I say all this from experience, I'v used them many times in the past and they have failed every time. Im only giving advice so you can take it or leave it.

I really love the Airlift 3H. I install one on a homies truck. Very easy to install and I keeps the truck level at all times. The 2 things I dont like is the PRICE and they valves are to slow for me

Parker hands down makes the best OG industrial solenoid valve. Stay away from Chad criss manifold and Accuair. Cheap internals and poor customer services/warranty.

I like Parker, SMC, and a few others. Thanks for the info on the Chad Criss Vales. I've never used them, but have heard good things about them. As far as Accuair, I know people that have had nothing but issues and people that have had no issues. Its all really personal preference. My preference is to spend the money 1 time and get quality parts.
