I have sapphires but it sparks or glows in green.is this rare? Tnx for your videos,very informative.

Maybe think about delving into the history of colored gemstones and what they are said to bestow upon the wearer. Sometimes there are certain colors of diamonds said to be bad luck and even carry curses. Just might give the channel another avenue to explore, and talking about the legend and romanticism behind the various gems would be a fun change perhaps.

Yes i see it ats true my green emerald bought from ebay from india has damage or has a crack on the emerald while my sapphire doesn’t damage at all

Emeralds if not from Columbia are 7 and if Columbian are 7.5 the only Beryl that is 8 on the Mohs scale is Morganite (not sure about red or yellow beryl).

Emeralds are on a hardness scale of 7.5 and sapphires are on a scale of 9. Which means sapphires are better. You can also get sapphires in green and blue so dont chose between and emerald and a sapphire choose a sapphire and just choose the colour
