    Things do evolve. But I’m not fixing or replacing it till it’s broke. It’s definitely served and still serving greatly. I would like to know the other options you think are better these days. Could be some good comparisons to make.

    Nice movie ref lol. I thought there might a little more to it than preference, but I guess I'll go with my ol' ass leather belt. I was actually looking for my nylon one but couldn't find it, and would rather not spend any money if I don't have to. Appreciate the info.

    No worries. Movie reference. Lol 😆. I’m literally providing my personal experience, while demonstrating some differences I have noticed between my previous belt. The Schiek belts are awesome in my usage opinion. But, everyone has different bodies, nerves and comfort zones. Definitely stick to what works best for you.

    @@ThatGuyHealth I appreciate the response, brosef. On a side note, I remember having to explain what happened to BOB (Body Opponent Bag) on the floor of the sports store I use to work at. Manager asked "They 'Americaned Me' his ass?" I laughingly said yeah. Another employee had to ask what we meant, and I had to explain lol. Poor BOB.

    Thanks for the view, question and being a subscriber. Now, since I haven actually used the 2pood belt. I can’t deliver personal experience comparisons. But, just of visual comparisons. I give schiek the go due to having the recessed side areas. It makes a difference in my use compared to other belts. The Schiek 2004 has been awesome for me. Hope this assist.

    Onkar Utekar Awesome choice and evening better question. The last digit in the series, 200(4 or 6) represents the back width. 2004 being 4” back width and 2006 being 6” back width. I have the 2004. Thanks for getting involved and asking a good question and BIG THANKS for being a SUBSCRIBER!

  • @ThatGuyHealth

    @ThatGuyHealth

    4 жыл бұрын

    Toni S Welcome. I have not personally experienced the 3004 series. Hearing that it may be stiffer than my current 2004 series, I wouldn’t likely buy it. I don’t want to decrease mobility in my trunk anymore than the 2004 series provides for support. I still want my core pressured during certain moves. Sometimes too much support can cause regression.

    Two years, last week or 5 years from now. That’s a good question. I would definitely consider the weight belt. The back is a prime spot for injury if not taken care of. That mainly means handling the proper lid for your level of lifts. Thanks for being a subscriber.

    You shouldnt overextend on deads anyway. Whoe does abs with belt? :)

  • @ThatGuyHealth

    @ThatGuyHealth

    3 жыл бұрын

    pg574 That is a good point on the deadlifts. You should not overextend on deadlifts, of course everybody has different points of where overextension may occur. Also I’ve seen people do abs while wearing a belt. I don’t suggest it nor do I purposely go into doing it. Sometimes I may loosen my belt just to make sure I keep track of it while having it on and do my abs. But the belt is loosened to a point where it is not affective as a support system. Amaru Rojas you could actually make a case to use a belt throughout any lifts. Us as body builders have a secondary use for our waistline as well and taper.
