It's so stupid why riot just doesn't give the options in the menu if we want English overlay with JP/KR voices. How hard is it to make 2 toggles, one for client language, and one for voice overs.

For annyone that has a problem with it turning back to english when you logg in you have to start the shortcut as Adminisstrator for it to work

Don't know if you or anyone else still drop by this video, but I'm still gonna drop this question here for anyone that might be: This is a genuine question, as I don't know a lot about coding. Since there are two shortcuts, the original shortcut that's made upon installation, and the new shortcut for the new language. Wouldn't running the old shortcut to go back to English language be faster than changing it in the properties?

After this do you need to keep opening the exact shortcut and never the main one again??

@@regularguy12379I just closed my client and checked task manager again to make sure the Riot Client was also closed completely while signing out. And then I ran the shortcut again and signed in and it worked. Most important thing was to make sure nothing from Riot is active beforehand

Pin the JP client into the taskbar, next time you launch LOL, just click the one you pinned and I will auto boots in JP ver

Your video is way too long for how simple it is, you mentioned "please don't skip this" yadayadayada, however there just isn't any useful information you're giving out if I'm honest. The vid got the job done, but it could easily be done in 2minutes max. Still though, thanks for the guide

Bro I cant launch the shortcut, it says that windows cannot access this. I tried running it as admin and even changing the compatibility settings and telling it to run as admin still it says that windows cannot access this and that I do not have permissions to access and run the shortcut!!

@@RyanGupta-nk4miJust go to Riot game client (not lol client), and change lol language to JP, the lol client will be updated to JP pack(voice and display), and Riot game client remains in English. Be aware it may cause match crash error, I had the situation, by re-install lol, it has been fixed.

@@RyanGupta-nk4mi it is! Both in game voice and display language are in Japanese, so you have to understand what those crazy katakana's saying. Thx god Riot finally makes this function feasible in official setting.

Mine isnt working. "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item"

@@Chriz132 I found a new way. The updated riot client has the option now to switch on different language. I used japanese language and voice and it was superb. So much fun hearing your champion on a different language. Try it.

@@Aikawadesuka Yeah I just found out that worked too! Very nice and easy (not very RIOT like haha). It only said "text language" so I thought it wouldn't change voices too, but luckily works very well
