Very Helpful, Thank you! Getting the second side brick in whilst holding the baffle plate was trickier than it looked!

Just a couple of extra points to this excellent video. The side bricks only go in one way, with the shorter unchamfered side at the bottom. Also it is a tight fit and you have to ensure that there is no dust or ash etc in the channel you are putting the bricks into, the cleaner the better. I used a flat screw driver to scrap hardened ash out before the bricks would fit.

Just remember that while the baffle plate sits on top of the side bricks , the baffle needs to be lifted again to fit the back brick, as this sits behind the baffle.

Best vid on here, I have a Firefox 5 and have installed both sides, baffle plate and the back brick but cannot get the 2 roof bricks in, the plate has 5 lugs, 2 either side and 1 in the middle of the plate, does this lug go at the front of the fire or to the rear, there is nothing on here about the firefox and replacement instructions are very vague, any info would be greatly appreciated, many thanks.

Does the process change depending on burner model or is it universal? We have a Hamer HD5

WARNING !! That stove is a Clearview Pioneer 400 Non- Smoke controlled. The Smoke controlled version which I found we had (Grrr!) has a rectangular metal tube (Turbo channel + 2 turbo channel gaskets) that runs along the top of the back brick. The procedure for removal is different and so are the Fire brick sizes !!! (Extra Grrrr!). Procedure for the Clearview Pioneer Smoke controlled is:- 1. Lift the baffle and side it right. (Or left.) 2. Tilt and remove the left side brick. 3. Slide the baffle left and remove the right side brick whilst holding the baffle. 4. Let the baffle drop forward and tilt to remove. 5. Remove the metal smoke control pipe from top of back brick. 6. Remove the back brick This would have been so much easier if the installer had left the manual, so I knew exactly which stove I had. (They both look exactly the same!) Also easier if the Clearview web site was any good. ( I couldn't even find the smoke controlled version listed.) In the smoked controlled version the back brick is the full width at the back and the side bricks are shorter to accommodate this. I'm guessing the baffle may also be a different shape?
