When the time comes for the HEPA filter to be replaced, the indicator light will illuminate on the control panel. To replace the filter, follow this simple procedure:
1. Switch off the unit and unplug it
2. Remove the panel at the front of the unit
3. Pull the HEPA filter out and replace it with a new one
5. Click the front panel back into place
To reset the filter replacement indicator, press and hold the reset icon until it resets.

Is it even possible to get genuine filters from Alen here in the UK? I bough 3 x 45i air filters from Amazon a few years back before they stopped stocking them. How did the tests go with the the generic filter?

Sadly it looks like you can't get genuine anymore which is a shame. I tested our 45i with Pureburg filter and they performed just as well as genuine filters.
