Finally, I found a great video and a person with great instructions! Oh, you can put a shop rag or towel in the gap under the threaded cap to prevent the cap from falling into oblivion! Lol

When I worked on aircraft, I used shop rags to fill the void between the airframe and remove the parts needed to be changed out! Life saver, my friend.

Thanks! Brake light just went out on my 2018 Focus so turned to KZread to save me some time. Great instructions and particularly liked the comment to be careful and not accidentally drop the plastic wing nut when removing it. Very sage and thoughtful advice.

Thank you for your video, it was so easy to follow. I had bought the bulb from Auto Zone, but the guy said he couldn't figure our how to do it. So, I went home, looked on KZread, found your video, and I replaced my brake bulb on my 2017 Ford Focus SE! If I can do this(a 60 year old grandm), then anyone can! 😁

Definitely the best vid for this that I have seen.

This is different on my 2018 RS .. how did you get to the upper lock? the 2018 RS does not have any of those holes .. looks like I have to remove most of the back paneling to remove the light assembly ..

My 2014 Focus light went out and I am grateful to @Sergio Barrientos for uploading this video. You saved me from the eventual traffic ticket (smile).

Those are called pliers..but U wont need rm, as Both the plastic nuts that secure the lens are easily removed by hand..as designed.

with smaller hands yeah it would work like it was designed. My hand didn’t fit in there
