Haha, this is hilarious at 10:15 when he knocks the hub out of the bearing with a hammer 😂. Required 5tonnes on my hydraulic press to get the bearing out on my 2004 S211. You should be so lucky the job is so smooth for you.

If you'd have looked at the video youd see that all the bolts have recently been loosened, as they say... this vid is for educational purposes only and this will take more than 30mins..

yeah my thoughts exactly. Not sure removing the whole spindle is necessary. If axle is pushed in far enough, it should allow access to the 4 bolts holding the bearing assembly

@@mascho22 it is mostly done for pressing the hub I to the new bearing otherwise the rear bearing race will separate and damage the new bearing

See how straight the job is with Autodoc professional tech! The hardest part for me would the brake shoes and cable. Or maybe after a couple of cup of teas and 3 hours later lol. Good job in this video! Just bought mine for both sides but I'll wait till we get warmer weather and in a week end!

This is far from easy! Video does NOT illustrate the struggle that can occur getting the axle pushed thru (its already loose here but normally requires a hub puller tool) or getting the spindle back on should you choose to remove it.

Can I ask a question: I own a Mercedes 211, a radiator helicopter that turns on after starting a car after a short period of time. Is this normal? Is it possible to solve it, please?

Why do you bolt bearing in first and then press? It woukd be easyer to press in the flat then bolt in. Please let me know if I am wrong. Thank you for your time😉

Thank you for your feedback. For our mechanics, this is probably easier, but there is no difference, you can first install the hub flange in the bearing and then fasten it.Best regards, Autodoc!
