There's no mention of a strut retaining tool, as shown between 3:02 - 3:09. This isn't an everyday tool you have in your garage, and would have been nice to include in the required tools / description.

Get an old dust sheet and cover your brakes up. That way you won't get dust and dirt on them when removing the plastic arch cover.👍

You may think you have come across "tight" bolts. None will have been quite as tight as some A6 lower shock bolts. Not all, but some. If you are attempting this job, I'd suggest trying to slacken the lower strut bolts first, before doing anything else. Using a lift, it's not a big deal as there's room to get a big breaker-bar in. However, on a jack, on your driveway/garage floor, there isn't & you may have hit an impasse. A battery impact driver won't touch a lot of them. If you do get stuck, only way we have found is to use a normal (good quality) 1/2" ratchet with a bottle-jack under the handle.. which is sketchy but works. Usually. Don't use your favorite ratchet... The steel bolt chemically seizes into the alloy suspension arm btw - hence the "tightness". You can't really use heat without doing damage, so it can be "an issue" that you may run into.

Correct torque specs are --> 35nm for the upper bolts and 150nm for the lower bolt. At least it was the case on the c6 i worked on today.
