I know you said the front LCAs you changed to an aftermarket brand,, but were the rear arms you purchased here OEM Mitsubishi parts, or aftermarket (not sure if you said and I missed it). EDIT: Nevermind - seeing in other comments you memtion Mounting King brand.

I might have missed out stating it in the video. The rear arms are aftermarket.

You do not need to align for every time you replace a suspension part. That's like saying you need to do an alignment every time you buy new tires. You align if you tampered with the alignment bolt, which should have been marked before removal, or if the vehicle was possible in a collision of some sort or you lowered or lifted the vehicle or as you see necessary. You don't alignment if you change a rear shock absorber, upper control arm, stabilizer bushing, sway bar links, strut mount etc. OEM parts are designed to fit and work as the original without any adjustment to the vehicle or changing the drivability of the vehicle

Do an alignment before you change your lower arm. Then do again after you have changed your lower arm. You will see that the readings will differ from after alignment with worn lower arm and before alignment with new lower arm. Reason being is that the alignment you did before you changed your lower arm is set to accommodate the slack or changes in a deformed or worm lower arm. Same goes with other parts. Anyway, going in for an alignment is only around RM30 or 9 USD in Malaysia so its a cost worth spending to ensure you have proper alignment and camber settings.

I have not, but I plan to once the current new lower arm give way....... which is probably gonna take a few years. I think as long as the workshop does a good job pumping the old bush out and uses quality new bushes, it should be ok. Unless your car have been in an accident or frequently hit big potholes, then i would suggest replacing the entire lower arm instead of just bushing. You never know if the metal part is off from all the potholes.

What were the size sockets you needed to complete the job?

@@PRACins that would be the alignment bolt. If its free spinning now, most likely you will need a new bolt. Use a screwdriver to pry the plate and the bolt should come out.

Did u grease up the bolts and thread lock it ?

thread lock the bolts = yes. Grease them up.... definitely not.

lug nuts... i tend to install them dry (no thread locker or grease)

I usually get all my stuff from either Shopee or Lazada (mainly shopee). Or I DM sellers that sell similar things to see if they can order for me.

Thank you for this video. Where did you buy the parts from? I'm also having rear noises on small bumps on the road, I'm suspecting loose brake pad because when I press the brake, the noise is gone. Have you had this experience?

I got the parts off Shopee. If your noise is gone when you press the brake, it is most likely your caliper pin that needs grease or tightening.

Cause........ it is by Mounting King. I think it is the better known brand if we are not going for originals or "OEM" mounts. Definitely don't go for China mounts, heard a lot of horror stories about them.

what knocking sensor? do you mean the ABS sensor?

@@TCsAnythingGoes no. The knock sensor is located on the outside of the engine block. It is intended to record knocking noise in all engine operating states in order to prevent engine damage but i don't know where.

Bolt sizes pls?

i didn't measure them but its the original bolts that came with the car.
