    at 5.00 I know the pain of that bold when I changed my rear tensioners on the 06 charger. I had to go to the hardware store and cut that bolt out by hand with a mig shift saw. first bolt 12 hours and I am not BS you. The second one 6 hours since I didnt drop the rear sub frame.

    i would have been tempted to try LOOSENEING all of the cradle bolts, then while supporting the one side, remove the bolts and see if there was enough slop/play to lower the ONE SIDE the couple inches in needed to lower just to get the one side's bold out, and then reverse the process...

    Hello sir. I was wondering what you did with the knuckle bushing that is not included in the energy suspension kit. Did you get it replaced or find someone who has a replacement for it?

    I did this to my 2014 charger rt but changed all the links with bmr suspension instead of just changing the bushings, it was alot of work.

    @@muhammedq9109 yes It was worth it, it was a lot of work but it rides and handles much better, if you lower your car you will need to do this to the back and front to be able to get the alignment back to specs, as you might know on the dodge charger there no camber adjustment on the front or the rear.

    Was it hard to remove the rear cradle ?

  • @hermanguzman1460

    @hermanguzman1460

    Жыл бұрын

    @@HemiCoop it's not hard it just takes time and patience, it helps a lot if you remove all the bolts that hold the exhaust plus the 2 cross braces further up to allow the cradle to come down, you can move the cradle down enough to take the rear bolts that hold the links without having to remove or loosen the fuel tank, just be careful of the fuel neck.

    Can you tell the difference after the upgrade? Does it handle good ? Is suspension soft ?

    Yes you can tell the difference, the ride is much more firm and the steering is tighter, I like the way it rides it's not a soft ride but still feels good.

    Why didn’t you just cut the bolts off and put the new ones in going the other direction so you would only need to fit the nut on the tight side?

    @@GibsonGarage Nice! I was hoping it was possible to flip those two bolts around 180 degrees for ease of access in the future. 14:22 On the assembly line, the guys putting it together never thought of the garage mechanic having to take them off 10yrs later. It's actually the engineers fault. Now... maybe they decided to put them on that way so the bolts would never back themselves out accidentally, who knows.
