What would we do without Partzilla videos? Thanks so much. Handy tip... when you are draining the transmission oil, you can use a half funnel or form-a-funnel to keep the oil from draining on to the forward skid plate and making another mess to clean up.

I wonder what the equivalent generic versions are of these fluids. Like 75w140 gear fluid front or rear, ATF for the transmission? I'm assuming there's no wet clutches so does the 5w50 oil have to be designed for motorcycles or could it be formulated more for a car?

Shouldn't be necessary, if there is that kind of debris, you'll need to do a lot more than spray it. The debris should collect at the bottom. If anything, run some oil through to flush it.

Do you happen to know where the intake and drains are for these fluids for the older Polaris. We have a 2001 Polaris Magnum 4x4. I found the amounts of fluid needed online but cant seem to find the fluid tanks. I'm just a mom trying to help out my son and save a little money. Would rather not have to pay someone to do this for us. The above video was awesome and totally made me feel like we could do it. - Thanks Julie

We don't currently have a video for the Magnum. We will add it to the list. They don't have fluid tanks, they drain out of the differential and transmission. Just by text, it would be very difficult to get you to the right plugs.

Demand drive fluid is essentially transmission fluid. The AGL fluid is the gear oil.
