How did it go?
I did the same with my 2017 X5, instead of the double slat, I went for the usual all gloss black.

I just changed mine out but couldn’t get them to unclip, I was able to just break them out without any damage.
Are the replacements oem? Where did you source them from?

Not oem as BMW make the same but charge much more - not noticeable. Get them from eBay

It’s not one product page or one seller I get them from. Just type “BMW 5 Series G30 black grille” and choose the one you prefer

Hi mate. Did you have a gap between the back of the grill and the trim.. just changed mine and it seems as though the new grills are not deep enough to meet the original trim inside
should have cleaned the whole front of vehicle before fitting the new grills. black wheels next.
