The top mount is angled which way does it go?

good day I bought a shock absorber for a corsa c 2002 from autodac I am mounted on the car and I have a problem flange under the hood of the shock absorber between the body has a space I do not know if it's good or bad?if you have an emil address you can send a picture thanks

Hi guys.having the same issue although followed gide lines.replaced the strut then spotted a gap between the top plate and the strut housing.any advise pls

I wouldn't like my feet below that spring compressor or my face above it lol, compressed springs are lethal! be careful people
