This didn't fit my 2013 Pro 4x frontier.
Could you not just replace the 168 halogen bulb with a 168 LED bulb....much cheaper

Yes this would be a cheaper option - but these trucks have a hard life and many of these lights are damaged - so its cheaper to buy this LED unit than the genuine light unit !
