Nissan Frontier Fog Light Installation (I took off the bumper, but you don't have to)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Installation of the factory fog lights and turn signal switch on a 2018 Nissan Frontier SV Crew Cab with the plastic bumper.
I took the bumper off, but you can definitely got through the wheel well without taking off the bumper. I will show you what you're looking for either way, and how everything goes in.
Bought all the parts on Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...

wow love your video, great job by the way, I ordered the same kit for my 2017 Nissan Frontier crew cab, got to thinking there must be an easier way for install because eventually you will have to replace your fog light bulbs, what I done was removed the bottom two screws from the bottom of the bumper that goes threw the bottom of the inner wheel cover and then the two inside screws holding the inner wheel cover into place then pulled back the cover and gained easy access to the fog light holes and wiring, but I know I couldn't have done it without your video, Thanks so much

Awesome video!!! Love how you made everything easy to understand. For those who want to do this but cant afford the $200+… i just ordered all the parts to do mine. What I found for the turn signal stalk wasnt originally for a frontier. I ran the parts number on the stalk that is in my truck, found a matching one that was OEM on an 03 Infinity. Mine was “Niles 14xxx” I can’t remember the numbers off the top of my head. Anyway it was $18 shipped and has the auto headlight switch if i ever install an ambient light sensor. The kits are very expensive when you can source original parts yourself on a budget. Just the route i took. Spent $70 total for LED fogs, the stalk, and plastic rings. Still waitin on the plastic rings so just the stalk has been installed so far, works great!

Wow nice job.... I went cheap on my 2015 Frontier as I wanted a set of running lights not necessarily fog lights. Found a set of LED lights almost same diameter as the factory hole on eBay ($30) but I was able to pry off the fake cover, attach the light and separately wire each LED light to a fuse in the fuse box that powers on only when the car is running. I did not use the factory wire harness nor install the steering wheel control. I also didn't have to take off the bumper.

great video and easy to follow, but you can access the fog light location through the wheel well. look for other videos and you can save a lot of time. Not being critical of this guy, again it's a great video. You can just save some time by not removing the front bumper. Awesome thing about the Frontier is fog lights are prewired when not equipped. Mud flaps can be installed in predrilled locations. Running boards are also ready to mount in factory locations and I recently discovered electric brake controllers for towing are also prewired, where not factory installed. This is absolutely a great truck!!

Great! I was wondering how to add the fog lights. It's great that Nissan didn't change the Frontier body since 2005. I have a 2015 and it is perfect for a daily driver. I have the 6 ft bed with a high rise cap so I can haul 50 banker boxes in it which makes it handy because I work in a Record Center.

I have a 2014 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab SV. Easy installation and fits as promised. You don't need to remove the bumper to install just pull back the wheel well covers, just a few screws to remove. Just make sure to hook the screw cap on the hole before you clip in the clip side. It will save you a lot of backtracking to fit.

Hey good video, but i just wanted to say there is no need to remove the bumper. If you take the wheels off and remove the 4 Phillip's screws that hold the front of the splash guard in place you can pull the fender liner back and have all the room you need to put the lights in. Much faster and you dont have to take as much stuff apart. Also the wiring is right there too.

i having the same problem, the video goes from putting clips on then skips and the light is already in place. Think the clip goes on the tab on the bumper with threads pointed in and light frame goes over that confusing as all the other tabs are outside the light assembly.

@@KiefferProjects I figured it out, the metal clip with threads goes on the bumper tab and that side of assembly goes on outside the tab where the other two side inside the tabs, pretty easy once figured it out, the second side went on in 1/10th the time. would have been much easier to figure if I took the bumper off like you did but I did mine in place.
