I would recommend that next time change the bulb with a glove due to the fact that the oil on your hands could make the light bulb overheat and burn out faster. I don’t want you to keep spending money on new bulbs. Thank you for the video mine just burnt out and needed a visual on how to change it. Great and helpful video.

I just had my car serviced at the dealer and made a point of telling them when I called to make the appointment, and again when I talked to the Service Advisor, that the left rear turn signal wasn't working. I didn't think to ask about it when I checked out, and the first time I made a left turn I found it hadn't been handled. Arrgh! This was just what I needed, and it's working correctly now.

I just changed mine on my Ford Fiesta 2011. No tools necessary, without removing anything, just plug and play, just twisting the baige/brown connector and replacing. Took me like 2 minutes.

This was perfect, I needed this right in time before I spent the money on labor I could do myself. Thanks for posting this!

Yoooo Mikayla! We have a 2017 Ford Fiesta and this video saved us! Almost thought it was an electrical issue since we had changed front bulb and nothing happened. turned out it was just the rear bulb that had gone out and we didn’t notice. We only had a front signal (amber) light at the time and it worked just fine. Thanks so much! :)

Good job doing this yourself, but I believe you did not have the correct bulb. You bought an Amber one instead of a clear one. Amber ones usually end the bulb number with "NA". You probably should have used the one that did not have "NA" at the end and would be clear.

Compliments first. . . . congrats on taking on the task yourself, and saving yourself some ridiculous charge from the dealership to replace a bulb. You did everything correctly, except for the bulb you used. You should have used a 3157, which is a CLEAR bulb, not AMBER. The amber bulb is for the front. The front lens is clear, so the bulb has to be amber. On the rear, the lens is RED, so the bulb should be CLEAR. A tip worth noting is how to determine when you have a failed turn signal bulb? You will know because the cycle of the blinking will become very rapid. The sole purpose of that is to alert you to the fact you have a turn signal bulb that is not working anymore. You just need to get a helper to determine which of the four bulbs it is.
