thanks for that. I am about to change the entire lamp fitting. Hit by a flying portaloo in the storms! You saved me a fortune. Rear cluster cost £25 and i can fit it with nothing more than a wrench. cheers

Saved me time and money. Took those two screws out from the light cluster and then thought, damn, they've got a blood screw under the wing like in the front light cluster. Couldn't find it so thought to hell with it check KZread and see if it is simple, you nailed it in seconds, thanks my friend.

Thanks, didn’t want to force it after taking the two screws out but it needs quite a bit of force to get it out! Your video helped. I must say that I can't believe you didn’t clean the sh*t out from behind the light before refitting! Ha!

So i got a Ka mk2 and one brake light doesn't work unless u tap the light.. i took it apart replaced bulb just incase but same issue happens. When you turn your lights on the lights come on but when breaking it doesnt unless u tap the light 🤔 strange. Any ideas?

Sounds like a bad connection to me, maybe try giving the contact a rub with some sandpaper? 👍

No sorry ours haven't gone yet, I'll definitely do a video showing when it does need replacing as lots of people have asked.

You also notice that the space between the rear light and the hood profile is smaller on the right light than on the left. I would add: When you close the hood after the operation, make sure that the hood does not hit the headlight close it slowly and not suddenly.

I removed the two bolts ,and the tail light assemble still wont come off ,WHY

It's just really stiff, give it a good wiggle 👌

Check lights before refitting, a duff "new" bulb is not unknown.

The music let me know everything was OK
