Fair amount of force was needed to remove my bulbs and wanted to be certain I was doing it right before applying more pressure than needed on landlord's lights. This video was a perfect reassurance. Thanks.
Thank you for uploading the tutorial, my partner hadn't any idea and a bit like directions, he doesn't like to ask... I found this really easy to follow and done in 10-15 seconds :) Thanks again, Di.
No worries share with whoever you like. Great led bulbs ,every one who has seen them intend to buy some.
seriously. I have been trying to get this bulb out for a while. as soon as he said push and twist I knew that was the answer. I am a very handy person and I did not think of that. THANK YOU!

Thanks for posting! This type of plug with the twist was easy to understand in your video. It took me 10 seconds to get it out, once I knew what I was doing. Another 10 to put the new one in, excellent!

I can have all of mine working now, as the bulbs had gone in two of them and was frightened of breaking them. Now I know how to do the clips. I can't believe anyone has disliked this. Thank You so much.

Hi Bill , there is a rubber suction cup that you can get for those bulb fittings , it acts like a suction cup and allows you to push up and twist the bulb out. Regards, al.
Good guidance and instructions, what a difference a few years make in LED technolgy the current LED GU10 `s (2016) are even brighter still, a better warm white colour and focused

That spring likes to fly around and impact stuff because it is not easy to grab. So figured I needed safety glasses. I also need to hold the lamp with one hand and insert the spring with the other. In my case it was literally hanging on wires.

How are the holding up now, are they still going. Just swapping out some old led to new 100° angle bulbs cool white 340 lumins they seem a lot bright then the old ones. Hope they last. Screwfix seem to be the cheapest and the best so far.

Thanks for the video. Am after some insight please! We have flush spotlights but unlike these ones, they are very long with a GU10 fitting on the end. Using Sylvania bulbs and trying to refit but to no avail. In short can get the GU10 bulb to line up with the housing so that it is flush but then cannot turn it to get it to engage in the housing. Because the face of the bulb is not flat and instead has a pattern on it neither of the suction devices work. Neither does the key I've used before (a flat piece of metal that has a tooth at either end to engage with the edge of the bulb) as it simply does not fit. HELP! Any suggestions about how to get the bulb to engage please. I am so not a fan of GU10s :( Thank you.

Simon Griffiths You may a strange fitting that takes GU10 bulbs with a longer length than the standard ones . If that is the case then a new light fitting will be your best bet.
I fucking love you! just what I needed.. was going crazy here :)
I noticed that it states on the package that they are 240V, the bulbs I want to change out are 50W/120V, can I use the 240V models like you have here? (Canada)

***** No they will not work, they must be the same voltage. Al.
Hi, I'm at my wits end! I've 2 down lights & they're both above the shower & have chrome housings with a glass centre, which I had to screw off to get at the bulb which is in a recessed housing. There are no clips holding it in so only way I can see to get it out was with suction cup so attached the suction cup & tried to turn & pull & it pulled the glass off the bulb!? Having to try & glue the glass back on to have another go now.....ffs

You need a special tool, a small sucker device that sticks to the bulb.
