HOW TO CHALK PAINT & GLAZE A PIECE OF CERAMICS | HOW TO USE WOOD STAIN TO GLAZE OVER CHALK PAINT
Today, I'm going to show you how to chalk paint a piece of ceramics, then glaze it with Minwax wood stain in the color of "Jackobean". The last step is to clear coat, which we use Minwax Polyurethane in a spray can.

There are several other techniques that you can use with this process. Try using a clean cloth to further wipe off the glaze to add more depth to your color.
We used light turquoise as the base color prior to applying the stain.
Be sure to spray outside or in a well ventilated area, and always wear a mask to protect you from the fumes.

I've had it forever, but just didn't like the color, and instead of getting rid of it, I decided to try doing that. Thank you so much for watching. I have some others that are also glazing over chalk paint that will be out soon.

Hi Angela. Love your channel. I did want to let you know that the proper pronunciation of Jacobean is JACK' oh bee an, or in the English language it can be pronounce Jack Oh' bee-an with emphasis on the OH. I personally prefer the later as it sounds more fluid....and it's fun to say!😜🥰
