watched many videos of Basic Bear carving for Beginners.... This by FAR IS THE BEST.... I like you giving The Depth cut Instructions..( 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" ) etc... AND the advice of watching this a few times BEFORE you start cutting .. For me this gives me what to expect NEXT.. THANKS SO MUCH..

great tutorial, just getting started and on my 2nd standing bear but I'm going to try your sitting bear
Did my 1st Bear last week using most of these tips from Kyle. Excellent videos and tutorials. Thanks Kyle. I have my electric chainsaw set up with a regular 12" bar and have a quarter tip bar and chain on the way. The 12 inch bar was an excellent jumping in point.

Great video! I have to try this. Would a battery saw achieve the same results, I'm just concerned about the noise of a petrol motor. What saw would you recommend? Thank you for the content and expertise 👍

Yes it would . I run the Stihl pro line of battery saws . These are the Msa160 Msa200 and Msa220
Forgive me if you’ve covered this already, but what about the logs themselves? Are they kiln dried? Air dried? Green? Love these vids, thanks!

I always say start with a Stihl ms170 it’s a cheap way to get started . They do not come with a detail bar you would have to by a new sprocket bar and chain
does it still need a coat after the spraypaint to go outside?
