I normally go fishing on a boat and when they diht drop the anchor I can’t jig ,do we need the anchor to slow jig or dash jig ?

what lure do you used and weight of the lure?

Nice catch & informative video, i just want to share a tip for who ever is fishing in such a place (Under bridge) always cast out in the sunny area & retrieve to the shadow area, & one more thing the orange spotted trevally can grow much bigger, i caught a 4kg orange spotted trevally from the shore of Abu Dhabi, tight lines everyone.

how many centimeters is the leader line? do you think is better to link leader with braid with a knot or with a swivel?

Hello, for me I connect it with FG Knot, you can use swivel too but there is a possibility of damaging ceramic rings on your guides with longer leaders. Usually my leader starts from 1.2-1.5 meters

Hi again, caught first yellow spotted trevally this morning thanks alot! Have one more opportunity to fish tonight, yas Island again. Is it worth using 12g jig at night for trevally? Are they actively feeding at night? Or would you target barracuda as they are very active night feeders? Thanks man

Try to learn the area you are jigging, 1st use only single assist hook on top, once you are more confident with the area add treble hook or bottom assist

I also notice that after you did a few crank, you wait 2-5 seconds, then repeat? What is the purpose of waiting 2-5 second? And don’t you run into risk of getting snag?

They belong to jack family I guess its not the same fish blue runner are not common here in UAE... I've been fish in UAE for 3 years now never catch blue runner...
