I’m having trouble running aground in the cockroach bay channel with my 19’ bay boat is there a trick to it that I don’t know of?
@badfishtv3813

Definitely shouldn’t be an issue in the cockroach channel even on a negative tide if you stay inside the signs but in the channel it is a little deeper on the red side but if you see me out there hit me up and we can see where your having issues, glad to help!
can you ellgally catch the 5mangrove snapper year round in tampa? where where you under the sky bridge?

You can usually catch your 5 fish limit in the bay year round but the size of them will vary from season to season and yes there are snapper around the skyway bridge.
How's the red tide in Tampa Bay now? I'm happy to see you catching fish instead of floating dead ones!

@@badfishtv3813 I hope they're safe to eat. That spill in Bradentucky is not good for us to eat I'm sure.
Looks like an offset hook, in Gulf waters, for reef fish at 15:13...

All the fish that we catch are inside Tampa bay in less than 15 feet of water so you don’t have to go far.

I experienced the beard zip up for the first time recently and it's not cool. Lol.
can we sleep overnight in the small RV at sKyway pier?I've heard Tampa bay w/ red tide for last 2 years an the fertilizer factory dumping toxic waste has ruined the bay for fishing. it's killed saw grass/ mamals/birds turtles fish all marine life.

Yes you can sleep on the skyway pier in a small RV as far as I know and have seen but as far as the health of the bay goes it is surprisingly good despite everything it has been through in the last few years. Grass did seem to be affected a little but there is some still there and plenty of life.
how do i do this in tampa st pete area from shoreline?
@badfishtv3813

I would just chum and drift your bait with the current the same way we did from the boat.

If they are there it won't matter if it doesn't look natural, they are not that picky.
as a guide do you get upset if amature guys book you and then try some of the spots you use on their own gear ?

I would just launch in Tampa bay at the ramp closest to you and focus on the edges of the shipping channels, I personally put in at cockroach bay in Ruskin.
