Great video. Great points made. I'm new to Kayaking about 9 months. Just bought a 13ft Vibe Kayak. Not sure where to go marsh fishing. Any recommendations in or around Galveston area?

I like sight fishing. Tell ya what I do sometimes. If theres no tide and Ive got a few spots in mind and on my boat. I use chum. I use a big pack of bread crumbs, crab bits, chopped dead prawns, load of that fish attracting juice and chopped up baitfish etc, etc. Throw in a few balls in several spots. And mate you would be surprised how well it works. I used it in England freshwater fishing all the time and thought it might adapt. Just a thought to try.

You might be on to something about the sting rays. Every time I’ve caught something I’ve always hooked a Ray. Just the other week I hooked a Ray in the same spot where I caught keeper trout.

Great how-to, explained clearly, and learned something new on the glasses. I always just bought polarized and didn't think about the light coming in from the sides. I see you have a link for the glasses, do you have a code that benefits you?

In my personal experience color plays a very small part. If the fish are feeding and your profile and presentation are right color isn't as much of a factor.
