It's been 40 odd years since my late father first took me sea fishing,the gear seemed a lot simpler then,Abu Atlantic 13ft glass rod which I could hardly pick up,Abu 7000 reel and a flowing trace with rag ,mackerel and squid on, best memories of my life and there's not a day goes by that I don't regret going with him more often. Enjoy your vids Wayne because it takes me back.👌

Just found you mate. Fantastic! For the first 30 seconds I did think who's this clown :) but seriously, you clearly have an infectious bit of banter and a great love of fishing and the channel! Being Gloucester based I've been toying with the idea of moving my boat to Portishead but have worried the chocolate water wasn't so good for Bass and the like. @@TheShoreHunter next time you get a bass or anything else that has a slightly potential hazard handling just a little idea mate, I think it'd be brilliant you briefly just pointing out what to look for in handling fish like bass with the spikey dorsal and the gill plate that's like a bloody razor 🪒🩸🤣 and differences between I dunno rays and stuff. As I've said before please keep doing what you're doing you're a class act and whilst everything is genuinely really natural to you now from years and years, new people looking in, coming across you might benefit a bit from a tad of just explaining???

Hey Wayne really nice vid...maybe I have tunnel vision but there's nothing better then a good bass banging away...you're always hyperventilating when you get it on the beach...I've had sea Trout and smoothies on my kayak, but nothing else gives me the same buzz as fishing for big bass 🙂..p.s what do you think of the influx of tuna?
