How to catch a Shark. Real VR Fishing tutorial. Oculus Quest 2. 4K

Ойындар

This is a tutorial on how to catch a shark on Real VR Fishing on the Oculus Quest 2. I will be keeping line help on to help you visualize what's happening when reeling in a shark. I will be showing how to snap and how to fight against the shark running. By the time you finish watching this video you should be confident enough to take on a shark yourselves. I've added times for key moments however it's definately worth watching the whole video for all the advice. #realvrfishing

    Hey thanks Mike. I'll be honest with you I haven't played Japan yet. In fact I'm yet to catch up on the US West. I've had very busy year so far outside of youtube. I would say try both, but focus on one type of fish at a time, and keep on plugging at it. Once I get back to making videos I'm gonna have to do some speed runs through the US and Japan locations to catch up. Good luck Mike, appreciate you watching. 🦈🎣🦈👍

    Okay, this is a great video! I still haven't been able to catch a shark (yet!) but I should just stick to it and hope I figure out their patterns. However, I do have one big question. There's one shark I've been encountering, and when I hook it, sometimes it looks like it turns around and starts swimming the away from me (I'm not sure if it actually is, but it kind of looks like it). Do you have any advice for this shark (whatever species it is) and what I can do for when it does this?

  • @SteveReesVR

    @SteveReesVR

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hey Dylan. When you hook a shark (any shark) they will turn and run, could be a tiger or mako, at this point you don't touch the reel, leave them run. You'll hear when they stop running, the noise of the reel stops. it's at this point you can start to reel them in nice and steady. You'll catch one in no time I'm sure 👍🦈

    @@bikerunner1792 they can be difficult to catch. And sometimes can be very difficult to even find. I'll be honest I've caught sharks using any kind of rod and reel so I wouldn't worry about the rod your using to much. To find the sharks you need the right lures, try the spoon or spinner and go on the level I was playing. Once you catch the right small fish with those lures, then the sharks will come. Also make sure you leave them run once they are on, and keep your line off the bright red. 👍🦈Good luck

    Thanks for the comment dude. I've gone through dry patches with sharks to be honest. And Mako's are especially elusive. For some reason I'd have days of catching 3 4 5 sharks in a row, and then days of nothing. Just keep patient and keep fishing. 🎣 they will come. 👍🦈🦈🦈 Ps the level with the rain and lightening on the beach is good for Tiger sharks and gummy sharks.

    I mostly use casting rods, and the spinner bait. As that bait tends to attract the right fish to get a shark on. However I have caught sharks using all the different rods. As long as you get the right type of fish on you can bring in a shark 🦈👍👍

  • @SteveReesVR

    @SteveReesVR

    Жыл бұрын

    Allow the shark to run when it's hooked. Once it's ran all the way out then start to bring it back in. I tried hitting every other snap as a test and I eventually brought it in. So if your getting almost every snap you should be fine, just don't rush or you will end up snapping the line. Keep and eye and feel on the breaking point, as soon as you feel it or see the line going red stop reeling briefly. You'll get there 🦈🎣👍

    Hi, thanks for watching. I would say from what I remember as it's been a while, its not getting to a certain level that unlocks the sharks, it just seems to be a natural progression, and location dependent. So the better you get the better the equipment, and the more locations you unlock so the more chance of getting a shark. Spoons and spinner's have always been great for me catching sharks. And from my experience it doesn't matter what rod you have, you can bring them in with anything. Just take your time 👍🦈👍

I don’t think I have mastered the “Snatch” yet. In addition I have lost several sharks for no apparent reason as far as I can understand. Also, is there any way to speed up reeling in faster when the line is green? Regards, Peter

    Morning Peter, glad to hear you are doing well since going one handed. As it goes there is another video that's coming out later today specifically for one handed fishing, I think you might find useful. And I landed a fantastic catch. The snatch is important for catching sharks, but it's no different to any other fish. Always go against the direction of the fish to ensure a successful snap. With regards reeling, the reel does speed up after a few seconds of holding the trigger. Watch my next video to see if it helps. 👍🦈
