Nice, u pinned your own comment, and we have not been devastated by drought, that’s not true, and there is not a ‘World Wide Drought’ that is causing this farm to dry up. Looks more like you are ridding the ponds of unwanted species and restocking the managed ponds with desired species-but it’s not a world wide drought

Got a good point. Those little fish just off shore in the weeds are all types and kinds. But boring I suppose.
Robert is one of the best castnet thrower I've seen on youtube. Is there anything you can't do buddy? Mannnnn 😂
Rob, I would have bet my bottom dollar you would have taken that big cat home & fixed it for your dad! I got to meet him once when you had your RV parked at their fish camp. Took some snaps of the RV & was looking for him as I left out to say Thank you. But I think that was just after a hurricane and he was a busy man so never even got to wave as I rolled out. My daughter & her family still live in Okeechobee and that's where I call home even if I'm not living in state right now. I'll Be Back!!
I watch ur KZread always to listen to this word “What’s up Happy people” . I feel myself lil lifted up emotionally. Thanks for that. I keep telling myself I am happy and there are a lot of people, less fortunate than me out there, who wished to be in place where I am now.
You can throw a cast net perfectly every time! Amazing!!!
Awesome you got sponsors. You deserve it. Commercials are cool and hope they are helping. You can really sling those cast nets. Probably save all those fishes lives. Lost a bunch of fish here in places I go from completely drying up. Its sad and it sucks. Always fun to watch. Great video
Hey Robert. I am from Guyana, South America. In my country those armoured catfish (we call them hassar) are a major delicacy. We're crazy about them, and sometimes pay a good amount of money for em locally.
Thank you very much for your videos, I really love watching them, infact i have been watchin them from years now but i have written for the first time, I really love how much you care about family and brotherhood, its the same here in Nepal but i find you a gem in a big rubble as a lot of people don't respect nature and living together with a big family of friends and relatives, sharing and caring love. Hats off to you man for you are very unique among many other. It would be a big honor to meet and hunt with a great guy and family like yours.
Man that pond looks awesome I remember when you first installed the structure piles looks like they definitely made the fish happy.

@@psprocks777 No, it's not. He doesn't want those fish in his pond. They are an invasive species introduced by idiots with aquariums that release them when they get to large for their tanks. They compete with native species by destroying native nesting sites when the other fish try to spawn.

You got a goldmine with those armored catfish Robert. Caribbean people love them,we call them cascadoo, Cascadura or hassa. Curried West Indian style cascadura cooked over a wood fire is awesome when men are "hanging-out".They are actually difficult to find now. Lots of bones but a labour of love.

Have you ever tried to fillet and eat like a 4 or 5 pound Pike. Tiny bones everywhere. Not sure why people like bass, I'm all about catching walleyes, good size, decent fight, best eating fish. Lake of the Woods in NW MN Canada is just full of them. I pulled out like 8 between 24 and 30" in less than 2 hours. But that was a magical day, then up came the wind and our 16' Lund.

My guess is that the fish are looking to find more oxygen...This is the physics....for every degree of increase in water temperature the oxygen level drops. As the water drops the more likely the temperatre of the water will increase. What can you do ?Remove the fish, increase the water supply, shade the water to prevent it from warming in the sun. floating rafts pads, reeds, lilly pads, weed, shelter of vegitation or duck weed.
This guy is the man for doing this stuff for the environment

I would also like to see how long it typically takes for the net to be ready for the next cast. Thanks.
