Dude that sounds great, you’re making me consider switching my high flows out and gutting my OEM cats on my 5.7 Daytona😭 Make sure you get those bolts tightened, you’ll get an exhaust leak if you don’t, it’ll throw a code, and also release borderline dangerous amounts of carbon monoxide into your cabin. That happened to me, and I got misfire codes+it was telling me the car was running too lean-tightening the bolts fixed it though. Also periodically plug an engine code reader to see if your SMOG/Emission sensors have run their diagnostics yet. Inspectors look at SMOG Sensor Readiness sometimes(My dodge dealership didn’t), so making sure they’re all ready and diagnosed is important-but I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you all this. You’re gonna have to get a hotlicks exhaust kit now👀

No, you may not have a check engine light. But if they are checking emmisons it will fail beise it reads what's coming out of the exhaust. Depends on the state you live in

Never gut your OG cats cause if u ever want to go back OEM because the smell is too much and sticks to your clothes and when you call dodge for oem cats they're $2,000 stack each i had to get used oem cats go back to normal got 2 oem cats used for $650 only found one guy selling it on ebay hard to find but does sound good

They’re pretty noticeable if the car is on a lift, and if noticed you will most likely lose any powertrain warranty you had. I’d say there’s a 8/10 chance they find it and then a 4/10 that they would turn you over to the cops. Which by the way will be a fine of up to 10k.

Why won’t u just remove the O2 sensor and just screw a bolt to latch the hole, since the O2 sensor will be gone there will be nothing to read anything come through the cat convert?

Because you will throw an engine code and have a constant engine light, and your car will not pass anywhere that has emission tests. The O2 spacers still allows the sensor to heat up and give data but it only reads a fraction of the actual exhaust gasses now, so it tricks the computer into thinking the catalytic converter is working like normal. Therefore no engine light if done right. Still super illegal though.

@@griefys743 You will need O2 spacers. I used the Big Daddy's Garage CEL Combo on my Hellcat and it was too much. I am doing some testing to see if I need the angled bung or the mini cat but I don't need both as it reads too lean. But if you have the scratch, I recommend the combo so you don't have to order another part and wait.
