Screen Mirroring does not appear in my TV's system settings. My TV is updated as well. Unfortunately your video could not help me. But I am glad it worked for some people.

Richard... the Screen Mirroring is In The Roku's settings.. not the "Tv's".

@Richard Hambel - that's very strange.. I bought a Roku TV @ Blk Friday, 43", it does have the screen mirroring in the system menu of settings.. I bought the Roku Express for an older Tv, and it's in that menu too... I wonder if doing a System restart thru the menus, then a Software update if nec... I put the Roku app on my phone and usually just "cast" from there if it's an option...

@@judywhite7782I do have it, but it still doesn’t show up my TV name on my phone, I think Roku most have broken it with the update or something. My TV is updated to 12.5.5 and I don’t know what to do. It used to work back then before that version 12 came out.

When I click on the cast button on my phone it just searches and searches and searches and never finds anything not any device not my tv. I'm becoming frustrated. I just want this ready so I can watch the church service on my TV tomorrow morning and not my tiny phone. I have a Motorola phone

Go to Settings > Connected Devices > Connection Preferences > Cast > Hit the three dots on the top right and hit "Enable wireless display" that solved the issue for me

Can you help? I've got an Onn Roku TV and a Samsung Galaxy A20 I'm trying to screen mirror via Smart View and the TV does pop up but it never connects... yes the Alaays allow is on and connect device is enabled... do I need another device to make this possible, I shouldn't right?

Can u still BT the sound to a sound system while mirroring from a Samsung tablet? I have been able to get the rest working after tv #2. What a pain. The setup is being used in my camper so I would like to have DL'd YT channels that play through the camper sound system. Thanks in advance!!!

To answer my own question, yes you can... I can BT off the camper from my tablet, or just tv speaker in the bedroom. Works nicely....

I just purchased an Onn 32" HD 720P 100012589 Roku tv and it does not have the MIRROR option in the menu of the tv. Does it support casting from an Android phone? We have tried and it does not seem to work. I don't have Internet so do I need a cable for the phone to the tv?

yeah I have a 32" Onn and it has the option but my samsung a21 doesn't have the cast option...

Umm the cast does it only show when u do the steps before it?

I wish I could have said this earlier before you got rid of the tv, and idk if you already know but, you had to update the tv, after the update is finished downloading everything will appear.

I want to mirror just the movie not the entire phone. When I click the cast icon on videos, Roku doesn't show up but my other vizio TV's do. So I can cast & close my phone. Casting my entire phone means I can't simultaneously use it. U didn't show how to add to that always allow list
