HOW TO CARVE A WALKING STICK (FLAMINGO)
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This week we are working with a beautiful piece of TEAK and carving a Flamingo head to be the topper to this cane. This wood has some amazing colors and patterns. We carve the head and mount it on a maple stick. Add a carbide tip to the end stick end and I show you an easy way to polish hardwood and produce a glass like finish! Hope you like the build and let me know your thoughts.

So satisfying when the finish hits that grain and it just pops. Beautiful piece, Jason.

Happy holidays!
Un profesor que yo tuve, me enseño que cuando juntas 2 piezas de madera con pegamento, para que tenga mejor adhesion se le pique con un formon y eso te dara mejor adhesion entre los 2.

I can see how that would work. I’ve never had an issue with this method, also the metal rod and epoxy down the centre adds a lot of strength as well

Thanks!
You have so many wood working tools. As a female, I don't think that I have the strength to use them. My dad probably has a lot of these tools in his workshop along with a lot of wood scraps.

I tend to collect the tools over the years. Love hand tools. Sounds like you have access to all the good stuff!
