It's funny, if you weren't a plant person you really wouldn't see the joy in these activities.

Literally my partner sitting next to me. "Okay I'm out" "noooo watch with me!" 😂
Hi Harli, the design looks amazing. What I'd have done differently is putting a fine mesh net to contain the soil on the side then cover it with the pebbles. That would add stability to your design and prevent a bit the soil spillage :)
Carnivorous plants are 80% of my house plant hobby! This was really fun to watch. You can learn a lot about any subject but real learning begins in practice. I think you did a great job and your new little babies will be so happy! 🌿♥️

So nice of you thank you
It definitely deserves its own spotlight! Nice job Harli… I heard a hack somewhere to to drain water from containers that don’t have drainage! I had a few clear vases that I use to grow plants in and when I overwater,I put in a tampon in and it absorbs the excess water, sometimes I would use a few, just bought really cheap tampons for my terrariums! It does work, believe me! 😂😂
I love all of your content, but I especially love watching you tackle these projects! I admire how you go for it, rather than agonizing over every little detail. You are definitely an inspiration to me! 💕 PS, I like it better on the little side table because it deserves it's own space! It's so beautiful!
I love pings! It was so fun to watch you make a little carnivorous plant bog :) Would love updates on your experience!
Girl you posted this at like 10 at night and I still clicked so fast!😂

Appreciate you ❤
It looks like a luscious chocolate cake with beautiful edible flowers!!😂. Very well done! Lets us know if it works for gnats and flies!! Maybe mosquitos, too?! 👍❤️👏
I don't know if you've ever watched Serpa Design, but he does AMAZING terrariums/paludariums/etc and goes through his whole process. I don't think he's ever done carnivorous plants, but it could give some great inspiration
I love how excited you get when doing new projects. You are so fun to watch.
The colors of these plants are so pretty. I'm so excited to see how it turns out
I loved this so much! Would love to see more projects like this on your channel!
Omg! I’m soooo excited about this project! I’ve been really wanting to try my hand at carnivorous plants. Please post updates! Also - I’m loving your recent content! You seem a lot more comfortable and confident - I adore when you’re your authentic self! ❤❤❤
You did a fantastic job! I think the arrangement of the pings/sundews, the light you used, and spot you chose most recently is perfect!!! This is quality content!
Oh god, I hope it's not too late to tell you this lol. Pinguicula pirouette is NOT a bog plant! They like foliar moisture as long as it dries quickly, that's how I water mine. Several times, I have tried to grow one in a terrarium, and it just melts in a few weeks. My mature mother plant does amazing in a simple round fish bowl, without any cover, with limestone and vermiculite, where the leaves and tiny roots can remain dry. This species also gets HUGE! Mine is about 6 inches around (after a year!), and has divided several times after flowering over the Winter. They seem to totally transform into light green, and my seller swears it's a matter of brighter light, so you really have to experiment there. There's almost no information about the specific care for this "complex" hybrid, but the parent plants come from Southern and South Eastern Mexico, if that helps you.

yeah, I agree, I was more worried about when they go dormant and how that will do with the sundews that love water. I don't want her to kill them since they are so beautiful and expensive

I've found that they seem to thrive on pumice, even when dormant. Can always pull back watering when necessary. Worse case, might need to move up the ones in the lower soil to the rocks and go with a few more Sundews/Utricularia where it's more boggy. Sphagnum moss would also be an eye catcher.

@@TyrantII "Thirsty succulent" comes to mind, for P. pirouette. They seem to come from an environment that has alternating humid and dry conditions, like a rocky desert or high mountains. I'm keeping some babies in much brighter but dryer conditions than the mother plant, which seems to dramatically affect the size because the babies remain tiny and compact after months.
Carnivorous plants were the first ones I got back in like 2004 high school. I only have pinguicula now since they're a bit too high maintenance for Colorado... Especially sarracenia and nepenthes. It looks fantastic! Pings are my favorite genus. Their flowers are cute.
Ooooo 👀😍 I LOVE this, Harli!! I want to try this set up in my indoor greenhouse. It would be so much prettier than yellow sticky traps 🤣 thanks for the great content & inspiration, yet again! 💜
I genuinely love your videos and plant collections❤ your channel is my new netflix. 😊 I learn so much from your videos.
Lol! God bless you Harli! That thrifter vase ended up costing quite a bit..😁 What self respecting planty parent doesn't want a bug eating bog?!! So fun! Best wishes🥰🌱
Your carnivorous plant arrangement is awesome! Looking forward to seeing its evolution!
I loved this! I love it by itself with the light, looks really good 🥰🥰 keep us posted on the growth
I like it as the centerpiece on that table. There is so much going on in there, that you really need to appreciate it by itself. The light absolutely makes it!
Harli, this is so cool! I love when you're excited about something. It's so enjoyable to watch, and I really like the new editing. Very relaxing!
I have a bog garden outdoors. I love how you designed this and carnivorous plants you picked are so beautiful:) I also feel like you would enjoy making aquascapes with aquatic plants that’s my second hobby :)

Girl yes I just started collecting them and I’m obsessed ❤🌸 they are so fun 🌸
Wow, you are rich! Curious Plant plants are not cheap!
Definitely right about plants and creativity! Some moss might be a nice addition to help keep a good balance and prevent smells in those type of soil conditions :)
I'm seriously in love with the way this turned out.❤❤❤
I definitely like it on its own little pedestal. Makes it feel more special. And it looks amazing.
California Carnivores has (or had) a video or maybe an article of a pinguicula tank on how to set up Pings are a lot of fun!!! My next replant of my BiOrb is going to be full of pings! I just love them
So cool! Can’t wait to see updates on this project in the future.
I was just on their website this morning. Lol now it’s a sign for me to go ahead and purchase the plants🤣 looks Great🌟
I love it! Can't wait to see how it works out. Best wishes! ♥
“Let’s do this together kinda thing” Harli G I learned how to propagate and care for a few of my plants from your videos. Thank for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for plants! These plants are so pretty and bring a natural plant landscape into your home which is totally cool. I live in an apartment complex and have a very small patio. This year I’m going to put some plants, flowers, and possibly some vegetable containers. I guess a micro version of what I hope to have if I can have my own home one day. (Scratch that last part. WHEN I get my own home)😊Directly near my patio is a downspout tube VERY close to the ground and I wouldn’t be able to use even a small bucket but I’m certainly going to brainstorm a way to try and collect the water for my plants. I’m glad that you mentioned that because I was thinking, “Oh my! What have I been doing?! Giving my plants tap water!”😮 Well, I guess that’s why we’re all here. To teach, create, learn, and GROW. Sincerely, Stefanie
Both look good, but I love the dresser, it draws the eye to a focal point and adds extra texture. 😍😍 Super fun. 💚
Very adorable, what a great way to display them and catch a few bugs. 😊
So cool! I am about to build my first one, but in a reptile tank! Loved the light, really made it come together.
Eeeek!!!!! It's so beautiful. 😍 I love the varieties you chose. I can't wait to see its progress.
I absolutely love it! I think it looks perfect on the table with the lamp ❤
Absolutely love carnivorous plants! You are going to have fun with those! The Pinguicula Kondoi has the smallest cutest flower! Don’t worry about keeping the water clean, most carnivorous plants live in boggy conditions, others live on rocks or hillsides. I think just having it clean is more for our aesthetics but they will be just fine. I have a pretty extensive ping collection, I’m hooked.
Looks great!
This is such a great idea!!!!! Love it!!
omg,I love this, I NEED this in my life!
I’m so intrigued by these! Def excited for the updates
You did an amazing job with this! ❤️❤️❤️
Love this❣️thank you for sharing such an amazing project 💚🪴
It actually turned out great. I love it in the last position. Thanks for sharing!
I like both locations! The dresser is cool with varying colors but the standalone spot is very elegant!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this project. It’s absolutely precious, and I love the end set up with its own table and light. A show-stopper. Can’t wait to see how it does! ❤
I told you about my carnivorous plants, but you inspired me now to do this too!🤩

Hello from Puerto Rico!!! This is awesome!!! I’ve never seen these plants before!!! Enjoy!!! 🙋🏼♀️🪴🐩💚
How fun and adventurous of you! Looking forward to updates. This was interesting to watch.
Lovely!
Definitely on the table ❤
This is really cool! I never heard of this before.
seriously the day before this came out, I was thinking I wanted to try a carnivorous terrarium! Perfect timing :)
Great job Harli 👏 ❤ I love your plants 🪴 on the table ❤
This is awesome!!! can’t wait to see how it does. Also, a “turkey baster” has become very helpful with my plant chores 🤣🤣🤣
This is so cute.
The shape of the bowl makes it look like a chocolate fudge cake 🤩🍫🎂
thank you!

I like fun projects like this. We move in one month, so I can’t wait to start a new plant project.
Love it! I got my adorable drosera intermedia because of your recommendation for Hunter Flytraps. I was supposed to just be buying moss 😅 oopsies! Looking forward to an update on this one.
Dude! When you flicked on that little spot light on it, my jaw dropped. So. Freaking. Cute.
I love your videos so much! You always make me laugh! I loved it on the dresser!
It would talk a complete restart but try going in with silicone to keep the rocks sturdy and keep dirt away, a small pump wold keep the water from going stagnant aswell
Successfully recreated a bog from the Isle of Arran last year and I have Scottish sphagnum moss in my jar terrarium with peat, and even gave it for the drainage layer a volcanic rock mix (lava rock+ granite) and a terrarium mesh to make sure the pear and moss doesn't go into the drainage layer, the carnivorous plants I added was Drosera rotundifilia and Drosera anglica I grew from seeds. Edit: Its thriving and doesn't need any thing apart from sunlight.
Looking forward to progress videos!!
Harli you are so funny. Love it when you mess up no big deal just move on 😊
So so pretty!! tfs
What a cool idea! I kinda want to try some carnivorous plants to live in my kitchen next to the fruit bowl but it always seemed like too much of a hassle, maybe ill give it a try! Also, this is random, but in your outro sound of the people applauding, there is one loud dude`s voice going YEAH! ALRIGHT! like his team just won the game, and it honestly makes me laugh ever time I hear it at the end of a plant care video. Like he`s so excited for you, and all of us, and our plants, its wholesome AF! YEAH! PHOTOSYNTHESIS! Thanks for another great video!
Is a beautiful project, great on its own ,just watch the kids 💚🌵🌱☘️💚
HOLY HELL THIS IS SO COOL. keep updating us on how they do! and if you had a good experience with the seller pls share!
It's so cute! I'll have to try doing this sometime; I have my carnivores in these plastic bins from Target. I think you'll enjoy the Utricularia! :)
This is amazing!!! I’d maybe let the water wick up/evaporate on its own and add more water after it settles instead of trying to strain it? Keep up these cool ideas! You’ve inspired me so much with this and the mantises!
Very cool! I hadn’t heard of many of these little plants. I’ve been looking into creating an outdoor bog either to recycle gray water or grow acid-loving plants, or both!
Give us an update later in the year. I have some ordered. Thanks for this content.
Having it's own table is better. 💚👍💚
