Geometric mean = square root of a times b In other words, it’s the middle number. Arithmetic mean = a + b divided by 2 Also, it’s the middle number & basically it’s the average 💕💕

Yes, the middle numbers are just a visualization technique he uses here to help explain things. As long as you take the sqrt of the lowest and highest numbers in a set (even if that set is comprised of only two numbers), you’ll be able to calculate the geometric mean. So in your example, it would just be sqrt(4*108) = 20.8 (rounded).

Divide 27 by any number (=x).. times 27 by the same number (=x) So you can find all the integers between 0-27, using the first division. = a 27 / x = a And you can get the b, by multiply the same factor u used in division. 27 * x = b The range of x = 1 - 27 , becuz u said positive integer Edit Sqr ( a * b ) = 27 = Sqr ( (a/x) * (b*x) ) = 27 Becuz 1/x * x = 1... then became a*b

Nice refresher of geometric means and geometric sequences and comparison and contrast with arithmetic means and arithmetic sequences. I read some people's questions here about whether a geometric mean could be 'between' two numbers not listed in the sequences. I could be horribly wrong although I don't think that is possible? I think it's more better if you use the +- because geometric s uses a alternative signs, ex : 4, _, 36. The 12 could be a negative or perhaps a positive, so It's more practical if you use +- :)

Then u do the same thing but you write it in fraction example: if they give u 4/9 and 16/25 u have to multiply them in a square root then u can just do what he did
