2022 Range Rover Evoque review: aex.ae/2DAZt33
When the Range Rover Evoque arrived in 2011, it was so impressive that it won our coveted Car of the Year award. It was even ranked as our Best Compact SUV the following year, and with more than 500,000 produced within five years of its launch the Evoque was a huge success. With all this in mind, a used model could be a good choice.
When the car was new we praised the ride and handling, its performance, the amount of standard equipment and the interior quality. We weren't so sure about the high price, poor fuel economy and limited practicality. Those things remain true of used models, so be aware of those things before you consider one. Vicki Butler-Henderson covers all you need to know in this used Range Rover Evoque review.

Easily one of the best looking SUVs :D. Yes, it'll be quite expensive and maybe less reliable than equivalent BMW's or Audis, but you still be getting a cool-looking SUV which you could use on a regular basis :)

A Range Rover breaks down like any other Car, where the issue comes in is that it can cost a bit to fix, and 90% of them never go off-road, there Family Cars, some people feel safer in a big Car, and, if your not a plate snob, an older model if you buy well can be had for four figure amounts, and finally, when buying a car it’s your choice your money, some of us would do well to remember that.

Yes, it breaks down like every other car, but the repair comes at a premium price tag, like 3000 for a fuel pump or 14000 for transmission.

Very helpful video as I'm thinking of buying a used Evoke 2.2 just worry about short journeys and clogging up the DPF same on most modern diesels though.

Go for a 2011-2014 2.2 sd4 one as they are less problematic than the 2015 onwards with the ingenium engine as that is a notorious engine for dpf problems as well as timing chain problems.

So you can't imagine why the convertible did not sold, the petrols are also weak sellers and the diesels account for the success ? Just a hint, it may be the price tag. Petrols and convertibles were expensive, diesels dirt cheap, comparable to Volkswagen Tiguan. The ingenium diesel is not reliable, the old 2.2l FordPSA diesel were bulletproof. Dangerous fault like on Ford Mondeo: the electric steering servo was mounted with aluminium screws, they corrode and break. There was a recall but only in some countries. Other may die. Buy a 2WD, as the Haldex on 4WD accounts for problems around 100000km, oil clogged. Every repair at JLR is ridiculous expensive, so most cars with problems get stolen or crashed to let the insurance pay for it.

This is a paid ad that only glorifies and doesn't give you the real deal. While this car might be extremely attractive, engineering behind most models is so poor that you could be entrapped financially. I've owned a cheap rover 25 before and it gave me the most electrical problems than any car I've ever owned. Problems experienced by owners of this model are to some extent similar to what I've went through with the rover 45.
