When it comes to the oranges and lemons, to get the juice before cutting them open, I use the palm of my hand and roll them on the counter with a little pressure.

I learned years ago, from some Florida locals, that the slightly green oranges are the juiciest and best for making freshly squeezed OJ. After testing this for years, it has proven to be true every single time. They are not sour at all.

Well orange in the past are actually green to begin with and doesn’t change color It’s selective breeding that crested the orange color we know today The advice in this video are mostly moot and only applies sometimes

I used to choose only Valencia oranges (when I could find them) back in the 70s and 80s when it was my turn to provide the orange slices for my son's soccer games. Now I can't even find Valencia oranges anywhere.

IN MY VIEW\ Thank you for making this video about oranges. It was always like rolling dice guessing how my oranges would turn out! They always ranged from sweet, no flavor and so bitter I would cut them up and put them in the blender with honey or sugar.

Well, choose a heavy one. The heavier, the more juice inside.
