So the other day my wife walks in the room scowling asking me who is Vera. I look at her perplexed and tell her I don't know. Then she hands me a handwritten letter and after a second I get a big smile. My stickers and patch have arrived. The wife still scowling suddenly says, is that from the German couple on KZread. I say yes and she rolls her eyes and says oh my god... I say exactly!

I think Vera and Christian will be getting a call soon from the Discovery Channel. Then we will have to pay for our Sunday fix. I can’t believe that Christian fixed the worst of the LR4 faults on the way home after collecting the car with the iiD tool. What smart move, normally it’s on the way home that all the LR faults pops up! ❤

I get the impression Christian is trying hard to hide his excitement. The more problems, the happier he seems. Love these videos. Thank you Christian and Vera.

Another awesome video, thanks. New Lead Acid battery, I always put a new battery on a good freshening charge overnight/auto to get all the cells back into step. 1.26sg @25°C ideally. You never know how long that 'new" battery has been on the shelf and car alternator

Fantastic to see that clearing the adaptation values sorted the shift clunk. My 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE never goes near a main dealer.

Congratulations on the new purchase. Really pleased the gearbox reset sorted the transmission issue.. And a battery for the stop start system cured that issue.. you lucked out... maybe? 😬 Looking forward to seeing you bring it back up to standard again.. 👍

Love it.. I have a 2015 SE model, same colour. same reliability.. doesn't even leak any oil on the driveway. We love it! And we get to use it heaps in the australian countryside, properly off road.

Nice car, great video love the way you resolve problems. I’ve just done a 3 hour round trip in my Discovery 1 no issues whatsoever I was thinking on my way home to swap for a D3 or 4 thanks for making me realise I’ll stick with what I have 😂

Super Video. Ich habe mir das DAB+ Modul von in2digi eingebaut, somit ist es mit dem Original Soundsystem zu bedienen. Aber natürlich auch wesentlich teurer. Die elektrische Lenksäule ist einfach perfekt, wenn die Fahrer wechseln. Schönen Sonntag euch beiden.

Hi you two, my secondary battery was causing the eco stop start mode to not work. When I changed the small battery it cured the problem. Good luck with the new car. Some good videos coming up I think!

We just purchased the 2012 lr4 hse with the 5.0 litre jaguar V8 (not supercharged). Same color black. The one you purchased is beautiful 🎉

My transmission did the same. I bought new solenoids bridge grommets transmission aluminum plate with adaptive reset. All sorted.

New project how exciting
