Nkakuha din kmi semi detached (4 bed, 2 bath, 2 living rm) 2018 @tier2 (work visa) , yep agent, mortgage advisor and solicitor will do most of the legwork even the insurance. Waiting for the calls and emails is the frustrating yet exciting part. 😂 Thanks for sharing.

Wow congrats po! 🙂 On our experience we did not use any agent and did it ourselves kaia medyo na stress kami sa kaka ff up lol Glad to know po na another Filipino got their mortgage on tier 2 visa. God bless! X

Thank you for watching 🙂 Yes, it’s almost the same amount that we pay for when we were renting a 2 bed flat in the town centre previously, it’s around 1,100 plus bills on top. Just to add to the info, we live in the south east of england so these are the price ranges we normally deal with, if living far from london it will be more affordable. We found that it is better to have our own house with almost the same amount we paid for when we were renting. I hope that helps xx

Hi Argentina, According to www.gov.uk with the morgage guarantee scheme we are able to avail a 5% deposit whether first time ir current homeowner. This is only available unti December 2022 so try and contact a trusted FA to avail this. I hope that helps xx

Hi can I know which area you are and what NHS? Thinking of moving ouf of Surrey kasi mahal masyado sa part na ito. I’m also very worried about the environment, crime rates etc. We are a young couple still starting a family. Would gladly move to a place that is safer and secure.

Hi, we currently live in Surrey as well. Yes, it is expensive here but we have weighed this a lot prior buying. We wanted the family friendly society and the easy ride to london which is 30mins train ride. You can try to look at areas in the North as it is way cheaper there. You can buy a home before PR but you not be entitled to some benefits and residential low interest rates

Hi, thank you for watching. We live in the surrey area and around the greater area london which weighs still a higher amount than living in the north of England. Less expensive than London but still pricey, we had discussions with my husband prior buying this and we still want to pursue the area. As I have mentioned, it is a family friendly society, environmental friendly and a 30minute train ride away from London. Also we have an airport near us (literally 10mins drive) and an acute hospital where I work. We had to consider a lot of things before getting the house and the pros outweighed the cons. We did the 30 year loan plan for a 2 bed semi detached house that costs 365k gbp. I hope this helps you in your future plans. Please sunscribe to keep in touch. Thank you 😊
