Hello, thank you for watching! We purchased this ring many years ago and the prices for diamonds have risen significantly since then, the last time I was in Tanishq to clean my ring, they estimated the cost to be a little over USD $24k when I asked about the exchange value. I hope this helps :)

They do sell GIA certified diamonds, they will just not give you the hard copy and they will also not tell you it’s GIA certified. A lot of their 1-1.5 carat solitaire diamonds are GIA certified, if you take a jewelers loupe with you and look at the diamond in the store you will be able to tell which ones are, because they will have 2 laser inscriptions on the girdle of the stone- (1) the UIN number from Tanishq and (2) GIA followed by it’s GIA number. Not all their solitaires are GIA certified though, some will only have a Tanishq UIN number on them, please watch my entire video for more info. Hope this helps!
