I swear to god we learn more on the internet than school, thank you for this. I didn't know I could of done all this and I took computer classes they've never taught me this stuff. I will thank you again for all this information I never knew. I also liked the video with a subscribe.

This is probably the easiest on the eyes spreadsheet for me that I can comprehend. I've gotten so overwhelmed with budgeting and all those fancy colorful ones I've found online. I appreciate your time and effort creating this and sharing your knowledge.

I have looked at numerous videos on this topic. This is the most concise and easy to follow that I have seen. If you are not a teacher, you should. Great job.

You did a great job of explaining how to use this tool. For the Invest conditional formatting, you can do it on the cell level - you can create the red/green rules specific for this cell.

The simplicity of it is perfect! Good call on doing a remake with the new skills. Or maybe two! An extra for new Googler’s (sheets/suite basic tips from a producer). (And maybe a SF budget-build walkthrough too :)

Hi Leila! I really appreciate you taking the time to show how you build your template! ☺️ I use Google Sheets as well to track my budget: I have 12 tabs (one per month) where I break down day by day how much money is going in/out. Being able to link cells from a previous tab is very useful to carry over the amount to the next month. It is very detailed but it really helped me when I needed to get out of debt to see how much extra money I could use for repayments.

You're a gem, I started a new role in my company 6 months ago and I now have travel and other expenses to keep up with. We have a system that lists it all but it is hard to keep up. Don't know why it never crossed my mind to create my own tracker until I saw your comment. Thank you!

This is FANTASTIC! You go into the very basics which is great for me because I'm totally new and haven't used a spreadsheet before. I really like that this is simple too, I don't like being bombarded with all sorts of stuff I find it very overwhelming. The only question I have is how do you use it on your phone. I don't have a laptop so I'd love to see a demo of it on a phone.

@@josmith2002 I personally believe they are distracting. You don’t need childish stickers to make a budget less intimidating. You need consistency and a mindset that the budget itself offers peace of mind.

THIS TOOK A LOT OF BALLS, BUT I LECTURED MY MOM INTO ME DOING HER BUDGET!!! thank you so much for your template honestly. I hate debt so let us get out of it!

Thanks for this video. I'm obsessed with finances so, I binged watched your videos yesterday. I like to see examples of how other people manage their money. I needed a video like this. When I write out my bidged I perfer to do everything as a list format insted of the way some do theirs but I don't know how to do formulas for budgeting. Can you pkease do another video.
