Since you mention corruption, you should combat corruption with different ways at the same time if you can: - By investigating the civil technologies that reduce corruption as soon as you can - By assigning special cards that contain corruption reduction to both your party's and the rival parties' characters. You should check the internal politics regularly. At least every 3 turns. - Promoting all the female polititians ( from both your party and the rival parties ) to the highest rank. For each female polititian with the highest rank, you get a 5% in corruption reduction. It is accumulative: The more female polititians there are with the highest rank, the better. I know you wouldn't be able to do that early in the campaign. Only from middle phase of the campaign because it costs money to get to promote them to the highest rank. But it is an investment that pays off. Your income would skyrocket later in the campaign. - I don't remember if dignataries can have skills for corruption reduction as well. I'll check it.

@@lanontotalwar You did right in eliminating the military buildings you don't need anymore. As you advance in your expansion, you should remove the military buildings that are far from the frontiers. Put barracks only in cities that are in the frontiers so that those cities of those provinces have a better chance for defending themselves without the help of any of your armies. One more thing to add to help the economy specially early in the campaign: - Attaching dignataries in some armies and assigning them skills that contain upkeep cost reduction. I think some champions can also have that skill.

Ironically, sometimes it’s just easier to ignore corruption and just conquer more and make more money to the point that even with corruption you’re still raking in enough where it doesn’t make a dent. Not the prettiest method but it works.

Hey man, thanks for the tips! I'm just getting into rome 2 and I'm finding it tough to expand without constant unrest and rebellions.. any advice on how to manage that better? Also EVERYONE declares war on me in like a revolving door style so I'm struggling to be consistent with my strategies when I'm shifting between carthage war, greek war and gaul war haha

You are very welcome :) happy to help :) Its probably on multiple layers where things are going wrong, diplomacy is one, if you dont betray your allies or people you have treaties with, you wil stay steadfast and faction will be alot less likely to declare war Unrest van be cause by rapid expansion and not building enough temples for public order and cultural conversion Gaul people dont like to be ruled by romans ;) My advice would be dial it down a bit in the expansion, first stabilize the region with armies and public order buildings before marching to you next target Hope it helps, if you have more questions, you can always tag me in the discord there we can discuss alot more :)

A helpful tip I find is if you take a new settlement with vastly different culture you have a few immediate options: 1. Turn the tax off for that particular province. It won’t be generating much wealth as you’re converting building + low public order, so you’re not really losing much money. 2. Organized Games - a political option available to statesmen (characters who aren’t currently fielding an army) 3. If you can spare it, send a dignitary agent to ramp up culture conversion

Hi! I've been playing Rome 2 recently. I still don't understand the game mechanics well. for example, the slave market gives percentage bonuses to various resources. Are these percentages applied to the entire province or only to the settlement in which it is built? Ditto for all other buildings (temples, industries, etc.)

Hi, this is a very good question, i had to look in to it again to be sure, but as far a i can figure out, the normal buffs are only for the region, if you take a look at some of the special buildings ( town buildings) you will see that for some buf it is statet for all regions i thought this was for the province, but if you look in the tech tree, there its stated as well for all regions, so conclusion: bufs are local unless its in the description that it applies to all regions, this means all regions in your empire. hope this explanation helps you out :)

I have a question because I have a bit of a problem with most of the provinces in terms of economy. How do you increase region wealth? I am currently playing as Rome and when I look at the map only Rome has high wealth while other provinces have low to mid wealth. I mean my current economy is very high ( over 20k per turn) and taxes are not even on max but I want to know how to make the rest of the empire grow better.

Hi, there are a couple things that you could do. First off all there are just some regions that acquire less wealth due to location so it cant always be helped. But things you can do is first get you culture dominant, and look for the benefits that each temple gives you Try to complement that with what a region/ province is producing. So combine you capital resource ( industry/ agricultural/ ect.) With minor buildings of the same type and a temple that complements that resource aswell This should help you accuire more wealth int these regions, Hope it helps you out :)

Remember your capital city will always make a little more money as all factions get a bit of something that’s like “1500” by default. Some min-maxing tips, your generals from other political parties will always have more reduction to army upkeep cost (especially if you promote them). So if you’re not going to be fighting, swap your party’s general to save more upkeep cost!

Ah this is vanilla, just trade ports, upgrade city, farms and cattle and temple , just repeat on every region, africa have 4 trade ports and 25% trade bonus so it is probably best income region. Asia provice have best bonuses factionwide so you must have it

Jo Dude. Since you're a small (and I guess new-ish) channel I'd like to give you 1 piece of contructive criticism: I personally find it very annoying that practically everyone uses the sentence 'so without further ado' after the intro. Maybe it's just me, but with just 1 different sentence you already differentiate yourself from most other channels. Besides that thanks for the vid and GL with your channel!
