As a spark, I actually preferred the noggins set at 1.2m. Run the circular saw down them and notch away 10-15mm for your 25mm metal switch boxes. I find that quick and easy. congrats on 10k subs very well deserved! :)

How many MM short did you make the wall to be able to lift it in like that?
Im doing one on second floor 2x4 with old slat flooring underneath, is it ok to just put the stud on them or should I go down to the beams?
Nice, but it would have been way better if you'd shown the construction of the angled panel. I think anyone can work out how to do square walls but I'd like to have seen how you laid out the angled cuts.
what size timber thickness do you use . 3 x 2?
Definitely not a joiner or a chippy. Double stud should have been on the outside corner to carry the plasterboard, and allows the other end to fix to the wall through one stud, not two. Also, the noggins are normally fixed at the same level using a gauge staff. Just sayin, having done this for 30 years....
