I'm currently building my own vanity(very similar to yours) due to prices being 200% in the box stores. I'm also using my Shapeoko CNC to create the shaker door & drawer fronts. I like to watch videos like this one as reminders of what to do/not to do. Appreciate the upload! Great job! :)

Very nice work. I would of used Baltic Birch Ply and Poplar for the drawers and face frame. There would of been less grain in the paint. But, that is just me. Nothing wrong with using Pine, the grain can be a design feature.

Paw Paw, I love watching your videos. You go into just enough depth to help people duplicate the results, and have great designs and ideas. Using the X-Carve to do the drawer fronts saves a ton of time and energy! One thing that I believe may help people follow along in the video, and not distract from the information, is to try and limit the phrase "be able to" in your narrative. I feel it is quite overused here, and in most of your videos. I felt so strong about it, that I actually rewatched this video and counted the number of times you used the phrase. I counted 72 times within a 30 minute video. I'm not sure if others find it to be as distracting and off-putting as I do, and I hope you don't find this comment to be offensive, because that is not my intention. I am merely trying to provide some constructive criticism to help improve the quality and the content of your channel. I truly do enjoy your videos, and being a local boy from Baton Rouge, I'm a kindred spirit. Take care, and I'll see you in your next video!

Dados are fine. I want to show people just staring out that they can be successful making great products with ease and limited tools and skill. I use dados for some projects. Many of my videos show different techniques to accomplish the same thing.

you may have said but I don't remember... if the cabinet's back is going against a wall and one side is going to be against a wall I hope the drawer side is going against the wall ,,,,because if the doors are against the wall door handles will be hitting the wall ,,,,or if it's in the center of the wall it wont matter....great video by the way....

This was very helpful. I feel like I could do this. The only thing I missed is the dimension of the spacer for putting the first drawer slide in? And then did you use the drawer space you made previously to place the rest of the drawer slides? Did you make the cabinet doors on the CNC also? Which CNC machine were using?

  • @PawPawsWorkShop

But nonetheless, I love your videos, because they show the overall concept in woodworking. Thank you!
