Well, I must say, I have seen many of these YT dugout videos and yours is better than 90% of them. Most just pour the dirt against the logs without burnishing them. A sure way to let them rot. The plastic tarp on the roof , or something to prevent leaks, is also overlooked by many and will allow water in. You did those right. I also like the staining of the wood and concrete fill and chimney/ stove pipe encasement. All around, a great job!

1. Холодный земляной пол - это не хорошо. 2. Стальной лист свода и пола печи прибитые к дереву без теплоизоляции - это ещё более не хорошо. 3. Дверь должна открываться только во-внутрь, что бы человек не оказался заблокирован внутри убежища, упавшим в колодец входа предметом или снежным наносом.

The charring of the logs is a special note here, as many youtubers skip this step. This is a nice build overall. Some things I'd like to see added to this type of content: a french drain for water coming into the shelter. Because there will be, and french drains are not hard. I would also like to see people get a separate air inlet for the fireplace. If you allow the fire to draw combustible air from the room, it will suck cold air INTO the area and freeze your butt off. It's actually colder with a fire going. The way to accomplish this is to bring a second "chimney" into your firebox, that leads to the outside. This will let the fire draw fresh air on it's own instead of sucking cold air in through the cracks.

Hello 🤝. Sorry for not answering for a long time. To remove the bark I use a large knife, I don’t remember the manufacturer. And for other utility work or when cooking, I use several knives: Beaver Craft Knife (black knife), Opinel, BUCK.

I haven't seen anyone drop a drainage system in any of the underground drops
