A few quick tips. Despite differences in weight and drag between a bike and a kart...... When you buy a kit like that all you need to do is ask what gearing the guys are using. Then assume most of them are using 20" tires so find the OD (outside diameter of the tire) and the OD of your tire and divide yours into theirs and increase your gearing by that amount. Also very important when dealing with a kart as long as your sprocket is not in danger of hitting the ground....just increase the diameter of the front sprocket (do not reduce the rear size) the larger overall sprockets will greatly lessen load/wear on the chain. Great review keep them coming!

Thanks! Yes I talked about upping the size of the front sprocket in the video which I have done. The video coming soon. The gearing on this one is a little different because the motor is a QS138 V3 gear reduction motor. I have to use very high gearing to get any kind of top speed.
Simplest conversation I have witnessed to date, wow great video 👍🏾👍🏾 I’m watching the test run with the biggest grin on face 😊
I have a surron motor, controller, and battery that I want to use on a kids 110 quad. Just gotta commit and start the project. That thing looks fun af
Well done not sticking that monster in the rocks! Top build.
Great work !! You go above and beyond
Love it!! Out of every build I'm most excited to test ride your go kart.

Can't wait for the best drive ratio! Great videos! I watch them a lot. I upgraded most of my mini bike engines to 223cc and a couple to 236cc. Curious about the Wildcat 223, might make good content.
Love the channel! Mostly mini bike and some gokarts!
That kart is badass!👍
Great video.. you should make more content with big block engines
Hahaha that's bad ass man!! Looks like fun!
that is one sick little ride, that thing boogies like no other. Thank you for the detailed build and it is awesome to see videos like this one and many others you have in this channel.

Only thing is I would love to see somebody on YT building a Razor MX650 with brushless wheel hubs instead on upgrading the motor to the electric & Co. or upgrading the motor itself, would be nice to see someone build the MX650 with dual brushless hub motors for tires. Can't find a video remotely close to that nowhere online...

hi...awsome ride...all you need is to put a car alternator on the other side of the rear axl and plug it into the battery....happy karting...
This awesome! Grind hard did something similar and did the math with a 200 ish pound cart and I believe the same drive system was like 4x the power to weight ratio of the Tesla plaid x.
Wow does that thing fly lol😳, love the kart content too! I just picked up my first kart, a manco interceptor…

Could you help me with my first build? I'm doing a header pipe and a vm22 but heared somewhere you need to remove the governor, is this true?
That looks so fun 😂
Is the output shaft on the motor 17mm or 20mm
Can the controller be control by a switch like on the bikes where it have like level 1, 2 & 3 for full grin at full power.

In this episode I build a ride-on industrial chain stretcher ... that's my idea of a good time.

cool ..... i want that motor .... that's insane
How much run time do you get from that setup and what kind of charger do you use?
Been wanting to do thing forever
The first test ride and the laughing like a child= awesome!!!!
In hindsight, would you go with the non-gear reduction version of this motor for this build?

You should try and find a CT100U or a maverick 98 and soup that thing up
Now you need to learn how to do a two speed jack shaft
I don't know if it would hold up, but it would be cool to use an internally geared bike hub as a Jack shaft and put some gear range on it
Do you live by black mountain? I think I've gone past your to go shooting yrs ago
recommended combo . 72 volt chi battery Torp 1000 controller and a TM-25 motor. that will do about 90mph. all out.

Hey man no response
So when i built my first diy electric skateboard, i calculated speed buy using some very basic math. The outter diameter of the wheel, the kv of the motor, and the speed i was shooting for. After that, its basic math. Diameter in inches, inches in a mile, rotations per mile, rotations per kv. You get it, right? I was within 1 mph of my projected mph for voltage, diameter, gear ratio, ect. I calculated 23 mph, in reality, i clocket 22 on gps repeatability. . But let's remember, its a state board and i was running only 33% of max voltage... Its a friggin skateboard guys. 6000 kw 7364 motor before you ask. 194kv 50 amp esc with an Ebay belt drive. Still have it to this day. Still scary as hell to ride. Too much torque. It will stand up and through you off. But still fun. Just thought a basic understanding of the math would be super helpful. Cheers! 🥂
Imagine if it had 2 moters,2 controller and 2 battery
Yus!
Man i wish i had the money to convert my Rascal over to THAT!! 28,000 watts! Why bother with gas?
I always like your videos but im not so interested in cart videos. (Especially electric cart videos ) i really like your gas powered minibike videos sir!! Gas powered is so much affordable compared to anything battery powered. 🤔👍🇺🇸
❤
When you said you were gonna do a zero to 30 I thought you were kidding me .. That is like over, over kill ..... It should be like zero to 60 . For reality sakes. That is way too much power for something that small .... It was a waste of cash if ya ask me ....but that is what comments are for mostly an opinion ..... I usually like your builds but this one was a step out of insanity !!
