I recommend 72 DPI for uploading images to WordPress.

Shared hosting plan is perfect for building a site with WordPress. Do you have a domain name purchased with IONOS or somewhere else?

Does IONOS have option, where we just select a ready Ecommerce template and edit the name and info, and its just ready for use?

The IONOS website builder would be good for this. You can pick out a theme and change the text quickly. I'll have a IONOS website builder tutorial coming out soon.

I cannot get pass the "select your country" step when trying to purchase the hosting because my country isn't listed there. What should i do?

Greetings! IONOS isn't available in some countries. If your country isn't listed more than likely IONOS may not be available. If you reach out to them via live chat you could confirm your Country and if there's anything to be selected.

Greetings! To get IONOS hosting you have to purchase one of its hosting plans. Just purchasing a domain name alone doesn't come with IONOS hosting service.

My apologies on the late response. This is just showing up. IONOS shared hosting works just fine with WordPress. You can also create your site on local host software and then export it into IONOS shared hosting or WordPress hosting plan.

Once you site is built using the web builder, is it possible to make a backup of that site?

Greetings! Here's how to make a backup of the site per IONOS backup article: Obtain the free backup software HTTrack by visiting the manufacturer's website. Install HTTrack on your computer. Launch HTTrack, and the software's initial screen will appear. Click on "Next." In the "Project name" field, input a name for your backup project that corresponds to your homepage. In the "Project category" field, specify a category name for the project. Use the button next to "Base path" to designate the location for storing the backup project. Then, proceed by clicking "Next." On the subsequent page, click "Add URL." Enter the domain (internet address) of your MyWebsite Creator under "URL:" and confirm your entry by clicking "OK." Continue the configuration by clicking "Next." In the next configuration step, select "Finish." This finalizes the backup setup. HTTrack will now begin the automatic download of the pages and content from your MyWebsite Creator. Please be aware that this process may take an hour or longer, depending on the size of your homepage and your internet connection's speed. After HTTrack has completed the backup, you will find the pages and content of your MyWebsite Creator in the project directory specified in step 4 on your computer's hard drive. HTTrack will store your page structure in subfolders within the main directory.

I found this from IONOS that might be helpful: Access your IONOS account and navigate to the Hosting section. If you have multiple hosting contracts, choose the one you wish to work with. Inside the Webspace section, click on the gear icon and opt for the File Recovery feature. Pick the backup you want from the dropdown menu. The Explorer section will display the backed-up folders and files. Select the specific folders and files you wish to recover. Initiate the restoration process by clicking on "Restore Selection." Your chosen files will be restored from the backup.

How can I start over and re select a theme form elementor?

I recommend installing the free plugin WP Reset. You can reset WordPress so you can start over and re-select a theme from Elementor. You can also in the WordPress dashboard just go to the Starter Templates and choose your new theme to replace the current one.

Greetings! Absolutely! The IONOS website builder is the easiest way to create your site. In this tutorial, I use WordPress which you don’t need to know code using Elementor page builder.

My site format looks nothing like this. No “Wordpress” But I have an E-commerce and it’s not user friendly. I feel stuck. And it’s $25 monthly

You can create your site via html and css and then upload your site to IONOS. I currently don’t have a tutorial on that but will this upcoming year.

Greetings! Couple of things could be causing this. You could start by going to the WordPress dashboard and going to Elementor in the left-side menu. Click settings, features, and try turning on active on all the performance features and save changes. If that doesn't work. Here are additional things to try: 1.Change permalinks to "Plain" in “Settings > Permalinks” on your WordPress Dashboard. 2.Check memory limit in “Elementor > System Info” and request your hosting company to raise it to at least 256MB. 3.Switch the front-end editor loader method in Elementor settings via “Elementor” > “Settings” > “Advanced” on your Dashboard. 4.Temporarily deactivate ModSecurity through your hosting company to rule out rule set issues, and check ModSecurity logs if necessary. 5.Ensure zlib.output_compression module is enabled by your host to compress data and aid in loading the editor with limited resources. 6.Lastly, you could de-activate plugins one by one as some plugins don't work well with Elementor.

Someone should have checked the data printed on starter 6$ a month. You said unlimited websites but the printed statement clearly said 10 websites.

Thanks for letting us know! IONOS updated the plans right before this and it used to be unlimited websites. Definitely should have been changed in the script. Not sure how that made it past me. Will be changed for all future tutorials.

Man i don't know if this promotional 1$ dollar plan works cause i have bought the plan and there's no place of creating website

Didnt work for me. I never got the Wordpress option. Took me directly to IONOS website options. Called customer support and was told that there isnt a wordpress link/option. So Im confused!

Greetings! Thanks for reaching out about this. If you signed up with the IONOS website builder plans more than likely you won't see WordPress as an option. To access WordPress you want to go with a shared hosting plan or any of the other hosting plans like WordPress hosting, VPS, etc. I just logged in and see the WordPress option.

Greetings! WordPress comes free with IONOS with its plans. For this tutorial, I used its popular shared hosting plans.

Big scam...I had taken a 1 year hosting plan for $12 in which I should have got 1 domain name also, but I did not get it. Later 10 dollars were taken from me again for the domain name. This is a scam website
