It's finally time for summer vacations, and if you're getting ready to go somewhere, I'm here to help you out, because I'm sharing my minimalist travel packing tips with you today :)
I was a serial over-packer back in the day, but since then I simplified my packing process and now I pack only essential items, which means much less stress and an enjoyable travel experience.
I divided this video into three parts:
1. How to pack clothes, shoes and fashion items, aka. how to build your small travel capsule wardrobe. I'll also share my travel capsule wardrobe packing with you that you can keep on your phone for future travel.
2. How to pack beauty items, makeup and toiletries, and how to simplify your beauty routine while you're away.
3. General packing travel tips, with a free traveling checklist, that you can again keep on your phone, to make sure you don't forget anything.

Ah, yes! The nude cami idea is fantastic! Not only to add warmth, but also for modesty when necessary. I'm very busty, so while in my day-to-day life I do not worry if I'm showing cleavage, when I travel abroad, I make sure to wear a stretch undershirt if the rest of my clothes might be deemed too sheer or too low cut by locals.
I just came back from holiday and didn't do too badly 😊 I wore most of it, but some of it ended up being completely inappropriate for the climate haha and I ended up buying a really nice coat 😬 I also always wear my heaviest items on the plane, like my awkwardly shaped boots. Great video! It's always good to be mindful, clutter on holiday is just added stress.

Yes, every trip is a learning experience, and not every time we'll get it 100% right 🤷♀️ But sounds like you really love the coat so that's a bonus, isn't it, hehe 😍 I'm super happy you enjoyed the video, and thanks for sharing 😘
Great advice! Love your videos! I also simplified my travel bag and it keeps getting better :) here are some of my tip. I take pre-soaked cotton rounds with micellar cleanser in a small Stash bag. Exfoliating powder and soapless face soap bar cut into smaller piece (good molecules). Tooth paste tablets. Feminine wash soap bar, Shampoo bar and conditioner bar all cut into small piece.and face cleansing oil (the ordinary one is good size) face cream with spf and cc cream with spf as part of TSA allowance. Ps if you have perfectly good leftover products at the end of the trip, leave it next to the trash can, the cleaning ladies will be more than happy to take it. When I worked once in a hotel, I was over the moon to find an almost full bottle of Paul Mitchell hair product and was allowed to keep it because it was in the trash.

Thank you so much!! 😊 And what a lovely list of ideas to try, I will definitely borrow some of these tips, I love the idea of pre-soaked cotton rounds! And when we were travelling with my family long distance, we always left things in case someone would take them, so good to know they went to good use 😉 Thanks for sharing! 😘
Love ut as usual. Took pocture of the list...so useful

I bought the Women's Unbound Merino Wool Capsule. And from that I learned that you don't need as much as you think.

Merino Wool can be worn in any climate as it breathes and doesn't stink. You can wear Merino Wool more than once.
I JUST asked a minimalist traveling related question to Travel Tips by Laurie. Shes a pilot's wife. Maybe reach out and see if she'd want to do a collab of some kind!

Your advice is fantastic. Yes, I'm a skincare aficionada. But if I'm going away for 14 days, I do not take my retinol (in fact, I often refill when I'm abroad), eye cream, vitamin-C, exfoliator, or lash serum. I make do with a cream-gel that I can use to moisturize face and body, and if the hotel has body lotion, I use that on my legs and arms. I do take my shampoo, conditioner and hair-styling gel, but do not pack a flat iron or blow dryer. I bring my own sunscreen, because I'm allergic to a lot of them, but I decant just the right amount. If I run low, I buy some at the location, and reserve my trusted one for my face. I only carry 2 lipsticks, one nude and one bold, and they double as blush. My eyeshadow palette is 6 colors, and I make sure one of the shades is dark enough to use as eyeliner. When it comes to clothing, I'm ruthless: all the tops and jackets must match all the bottoms. Shoes, just 3: low heels for fancy outings, walking shoes, and low-heeled ankle boots if it's autumn/winter OR strappy flat sandals if it's spring/summer. Bags: a a clutch for night, and a crossbody that converts to backpack for day. I always have a few scarves that I can wear as tops or skirts in a pinch. I can travel for a month with just a carry on. It's not that difficult!

Aw, thank you! 😊 I actually just ordered my first retinol product a week ago, hehe, so can't wait to start using it, hopefully, my skin will respond well. And thanks for taking the time to share how you pack, it sounds very minimal and practical, well done! 😉

@@KimBedene Thank you! I'm sure your prescriber gave you instructions for the retinol...but start very slowly! Once a week for a couple of weeks, then twice a week for another month or so, then 3 times a week...I've never been able to do it daily, and I've been using it for over 20 years. Gentle cleansing, retinol, and sunscreen are the 3 most important things you can do for your skin. The rest of skincare is "extra". (I'm going to watch your "travel makeup bag" video now!)

@@irairod5160 Yes, I will definitely start slowly, I don't have a super strong product so hopefully, I should be fine 😊 Thanks for the tips! 😘
So practical video, it is compelling that you put emphasise how to pack clothes by rolling and don't give up beauty routine :) It is also worth of recomendation a video from Daria Andronescu youtube channel "Summer Vacation capsule wardrobe".
