The video is a masterpiece! I've been aware of my style for years, my wardrobe has been monochrome for four years - but I still let myself be tempted from time to time to buy some pieces that I think are beautiful, even though I know I'll only wear them for a while. Great video! I'd like to offer some insights since I'm from an older generation - the only 90s clothes that have been timeless are the straight cuts. Think Levis, straight skirts, straight blazers, tall straight boots, and the 90s bag. The only people who wore tiered, long skirts were next-gen hippies (deadheads). They were not mainstream. The only people who wore chunky loafers were from subcultures like goth and LGBT (we didn't have Q+) and those were like the evolution of the chunky Doc Martens, which were also underground back then. Only buy those items if you don't mind packing them away for a couple of decades after they cycle out of style.

Loved the video! Very useful tips. I am building my timeless wardrobe at the moment right now :) I am very petite and I always hated wearing child sized clothes. But I like to go for child sizing in Ralph Lauren ect ect because then it fits me like a glove and it looks so elegant and put together.

Great video! I do think it would be amazing if you could start including inspo/reference pics of women of more varied sizes!! Just to show that timeless pieces should also be pieces that suit different body types and not just one 😊

Hi Grace! I'm struggling with finding statement pieces or finding a way to spice up my "capsule wardrobe". Last year I think that I've reached the point where I have the necessary basics to make my wardrobe versatile. But somehow I'm getting bored. Happy to say, I have most of the essentials :) just a trench coat in camel and a brown leather jacket instead of black, since I like those tones, just need a solid pair of boots! But it's still summer in Oz

The COS ones are great. It’s hard to say specifically- I’d look on the LNCC and SSENSE marketplaces for inspiration for brands! Maybe And other stories as well x
