How to build a table. PART1
In my opinion, in this video I will show our best project to date. This is a table made from 200 year old ash. We shot over 200 gigabytes of video, so we decided to split it into two parts. In the first part we will show you how to make table legs. These are not the standard legs you are used to seeing before. For them I will use 90mm thick ash. My youngest son made a 3D model on the computer according to my drawings, and having all the dimensions of the 3D model, it will be easier to make table legs in the future.
I hope you will enjoy.

I’m gobsmacked at the design of this. Can’t wait for the revealing in part 2! Stunning!
Glad you were able to save those from being firewood. People here in the states especially don't want wood unless it's straight and perfect. As you know the ugly stuff has the most beautiful character.
Amazing concept for a set of legs, it makes the mouth water for the second video to show the completion of this table. You are an inspiration with your innovative & motivating designs. This 200 year old Ash timber looks brilliant too. Cheers & prayers for you all, Don from South Australia.

Are you sure they aren't a little bit on the flimsy side, I'm sure they could only take the weight of two elephants per leg ... stunning design and craftsmanship as always, a pleasure to be able to watch you work 👍 As for the people who wanted to turn those logs into firewood ... I'm saying nothing because I don't want to be banned!!

Great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

YOU ARE AN ARTIST.
Amazing! Keep going!
More of the dog, please ;-)
Hi 👋, I love the design concept, say hi, to pooch,, 🐕🦺 . Are you going to do something similar for the top, I was watching somebody yesterday, fabricating some steel legs for a river table. Part of it looks like in A frame and then inverted V was then planted on the side, that stuck proud of the of the A frame , with a mounting plate on top of the V to secure the table top, I thought that could be interesting if that was made out of Ash with an in-line into it in ebony or black, or even resin, You are producing some great pieces of art , I look forward to part two, of your project. Things like this are very time-consuming and hopefully you we will be rewarded. For your time and skills., if you would like I’ll try and send you the KZread channel that the guy was doing with the steel framework you might find it. Interesting just leave me a comment yes or no , thank you for sharing, Phil from the moulin.
Question - Are the legs random or identical? Mirror images of each other? Hard to tell in the short view of the video. Great, beautiful work!
👍👍👍

Those legs will need a LOT of dusting. interesting work although not to my taste, they look very bulky.
